As the final bell rang, signaling the start of the school day, my classmates surrounded me with cheers and congratulations. The news of Jake and me becoming official boyfriends had spread like wildfire, and everyone seemed genuinely happy for us.
"Sunoo, you sly fox! Congrats on landing Jake!" Chaewon exclaimed, playfully nudging my shoulder.
"Thanks, Chaewon," I replied, blushing at the attention.
"I can't believe you two are finally together! It's like a K-drama came to life!" Eunchae chimed in, making everyone laugh
As we were leaving the classroom, our teacher Ms. Kim made an announcement that tomorrow would be a holiday due to Sunghoon's ice skating competition. She encouraged everyone to come and show their support.
"Tomorrow's going to be so much fun! Let's all go cheer for Sunghoon together!" Ms. Kim suggested, and we all agreed.
After school, Jake was outside the library waiting for me, Heeseung, and Niki. Us and the other boys gathered at the hospital to visit Jungwon. We talked to the doctor if Jungwon can leave tomorrow and explained about Sunghoon's competition. To our surprise, the doctor agreed to let Jungwon go for tomorrow so he could join us in supporting Sunghoon.
We celebrated with some snacks and laughter, making sure Jungwon felt included in the joyous atmosphere. Heeseung playfully put Jake and me on the hot seat, teasing us about our new relationship.
"So, Sunoo, spill the details.How did you manage to steal Jake's heart?" Heeseung asked, wiggling his eyebrows mischievously.
I chuckled nervously, feeling everyone's eyes on us. "Well, it's a long story, but let's just say that Jake has always been there for me, and I realized that I couldn't imagine my life without him."
Jake smiled warmly, taking my hand in his. "And I've always admired Sunoo's. I couldn't be happier that we're finally together. Though we still can't agree together in picking ice cream flavors."
The boys laughed, cheered, and clapped, and I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with happiness. To have the support and love of my friends, and to be officially with Jake, made my heart soar. But Sunghoon and Heeseung seemed quiet. I didn't think much of it.
As the evening went on, we continued to share stories, cherishing the time spent together. When it was time to leave, we made plans to meet up early the next day to go and support Sunghoon in his competition.
Jake and I went to grab a coffee at the coffee shop we went last last week the he dropped me at dorm. I was a bit exhausted by today's events, but they sure made me happy. I posted a photo of Jake on insta.

As I lay in bed that night, I couldn't stop smiling. I felt grateful for the friends I had, for Jungwon's recovery, and for the love and happiness that had entered my life in the form of Jake. Tomorrow was going to be a special day, and I couldn't wait to be there for Sunghoon as he took the ice.
