Sunghoon's POV

As I walked down the familiar halls of our school, Soobin's curious gaze met mine. "Where were you yesterday?" he inquired with a hint of concern.

"Just took a day off," I dismissed, not wanting to delve into the details.

Class played out as usual, boring ass lessons, sometimes I wonder how am I titled as an ace while this is what I think of this school.

In the break time, my initial plan was to grab a quick bite at the canteen, but my path was unexpectedly intercepted by Wonyoung. She stood by the classroom door, her expression a mix of uncertainty and seriousness.

"Sunghoon, can we talk?" she asked, her eyes searching mine.

I hesitated for a moment, contemplating whether it was worth engaging in a conversation with her. But eventually, I nodded, "Sure..."

We stepped into the empty rooftop, and Wonyoung closed the door behind us. The air seemed charged with unspoken tension as we faced each other.

Wonyoung's expression shifted from hurt to a steely determination. "Consider it, Sunghoon. Become my boyfriend, and I won't expose the darker side of you. You can keep your picture-perfect life with me."

I stared at her, incredulous. "You really are crazy."

She chuckled, her tone darkening. "Crazy? Just like you were, Sunghoon. Crazy over me. Funny how things change, right?"

I shook my head, refusing to entertain her absurd proposal. "I'm not the person I used to be, Wonyoung. I don't need to play your games."

Her eyes narrowed, and the sweetness in her voice vanished. "You think you can just move on from what you did? From the person you were? I have evidence, Sunghoon. Evidence that could ruin your perfect little life. That basement-"

I scoffed, "This is blackmail, Wonyoung. You can't force me into being with you."

She leaned in, her eyes intense. "Fine, Sunghoon. I don't need you to love me. I just need you to be my boyfriend on the surface. You can continue your little affair with Sunoo, but you'll be mine in public."

I was taken aback by the audacity of her proposition. "I won't betray Sunoo like that."

She smirked, "Isn't it funny, Sunghoon? How you were willing to betray everything for me once, but now you act like you're some changed man."

"People change, Wonyoung. And who I want now is Sunoo," I declared, my voice unwavering,"that's in the past. We're not... we're not together anymore." I sighed, running a hand through my hair.

Her gaze didn't waver. "I get that, Sunghoon. But it doesn't erase what we had. Why act like it never existed?"

I averted my eyes, struggling to find the right words. "I can't change what happened, Wonyoung. And honestly, I'm in a different place now. We're both in a different place now."

She sighed, frustration evident in her features. "But you're still with Sunoo, aren't you? You're with him, and you're happy."

I clenched my fists, the weight of her words hitting me. "That's none of your business, Wonyoung."

She looked hurt, but determination glinted in her eyes. "Sunghoon, don't you think it's time we face the consequences of our actions? Not just for us, but for Sunoo too."

"No Wonyoung, nothing will go to your plan, I love Sunoo, no matter what." I raised my voice, startling her a bit.
