Chapter 9

There's nothing I want more right now but to punch Tristan in the face. For sure, this is what he and Quinn are fighting about earlier. He offered our house to the people I've been trying to avoid for years. This is so unacceptable!

"What the hell?" bulalas ni Jassy nang mapatingin siya sa akin. "Why is the Ripper here?"

Lahat ng mata ay nakatuon na ngayon sa akin. Gumapang ang kaba sa aking dibdib. Quinn and Johanna know nothing about that. They don't even know that supernaturals exist. Damn it, Jassy.

Nagulat silang lahat sa sinabi ng kapatid ko. Marcial and Kaylee are clenching their fists, while the others are clueless. Especially Elijah who's making a funny face right now. Nakakunot ang noo niya at bahagyang nakanganga habang nakatingin sa akin.

"What Ripper are you talking about, you freak?" pambabasag ni Quinn sa katahimikan at kumapit sa braso ko. "My baby is not a serial killer. You're crazy." pagtataray niya.

"Well I'm telling you that your baby is a cold-blooded murderer." humarap siya kila Val, Kaylee at Marcial. "Please tell them that what I said is true."

Humarap sa amin si Val at bahagyang yumuko. "I'm sorry about my friend. She doesn't want to move here, that's why she's saying some crazy stuff. Please don't mind her." paumanhin niya.

Nalaglag ang panga ko sa ginawa niya. She knows that I'm the Ripper. Even Marcial and Kaylee remained silent. And knowing my sister, she will not accept what just happened.

"What are you saying, younger Parker? You were there with me when she massacred a bunch of people!" humarap siya kila Marcial at Kaylee na para bang nanghihingi ng tulong. "Cial! Shorty! Tell them I'm not making things up!"

"Jassy, I think you should stop that." halos pabulong na sabi ni Marcial.

Bago pa makapagpatuloy sa pagwawala si Jassy ay agad na siyang hinila nila Elijah at Jed palabas ng bahay. Natahimik ang lahat nang makaalis sila. Tila nagpapakiramdaman. Because of my enhanced hearing, I can hear my siblings squabbling outside.

"I'm not making up stuff, Eli! She really is the Ripper!" sigaw ni Jassy.

"Lower down your voice. They might hear you." kalmadong sabi ni Jed.

"Shut up, Parker. You always take your adoptive sister's side over your own flesh and blood." bulalas niya. "I don't understand younger Parker and the others. We all saw that girl. She's a vampire!" muling sigaw niya.

I also knocked them out using a sleeping spell. Can't she remember that?

"Even if what you're saying is true, you should not say that out loud. There are obviously normal people inside that house, and they don't know anything about vampires and other supernaturals. The others might have realized that, that's why they're not saying anything." mahabang paliwanag ni Elijah.

Napabuntong hininga nalang ako. Jassy is reckless as ever. Hindi niya pinag iisipan ng mabuti ang mga sinasabi at ginagawa niya. Both Johanna and Quinn are smart. Quinn defended me earlier but I know she's thinking about it, hence, she's being quiet right now. Even Johanna is staring at me like she's assessing me.

"I'm sorry, Z. I didn't know this would happen." bulong sa akin ni Tristan.

Hindi ko siya pinansin. Cole, Mikhael and Noah are vampires. They can hear everything we say.

Ilang minuto pa ay muling pumasok ang mga kapatid ko sa bahay. Jassy is shooting dagger stares at me. I can feel her anger because of our connection. I'm trying my best to calm myself because I'm a vampire now and my emotions are heightened.

Tumabi si Raven sa akin at hinawakan ang kamay kong di ko napansin na nanginginig na pala. Another reason why they should not be near me. Jassy's emotions might drive me crazy.
