Chapter 19

"Why do you keep on following me? Are you a leech?"

"Trust me, I hate doing this as much as you do." bulong ni Val.

"What was that?" masungit na tanong ni Quinn.

"Nothing. I said you're so pretty." walang ganang sagot ni Val.

Napamasahe ako ng aking noo dahil sa usapan nila. I heard from one of the professors that the owner of the University will visit here next week, that's why they're having an emergency meeting. We have 3 vacant hours and classes will resume this afternoon. Gusto ko sanang umuwi muna kanina ngunit sinabi ni Quinn na dito nalang kami. At dahil lagi siyang sinusundan ni Val, magkakasama kami ngayon dito sa cafeteria. Now I'm being tortured because of their useless banters. May isang oras pa kami bago magpatuloy ang klase kaya naman kakain muna kami ng tanghalian.

Mula sa malayo ay natanaw kong papalapit sa amin sila Johanna, Tristan, Elijah, Raven at Marcial. Quinn texted our other friends earlier because she wants us to have lunch together so I'm not surprised that they're here. But I'm surprised that Elijah and Marcial came along. That's fine with me, but I already know what will happen next.

"Hi guys." nakangiting bati ni Johanna at umupo sa tabi ni Quinn.

Umupo sa tapat ko si Raven na malapad ang ngisi. Napairap ako. I know what she's thinking. I'm with my ex and someone who likes me. She loves to see me being tortured, and she's happier when Kaylee is in the picture. She calls them 'women in Olivia's life', and it's so irritating. If this was more than three years ago and Kaylee has her memories, I'm sure Raven will be the number one on her list of 'People I'm jealous of'. She was jealous of Jassy before even though she knows she's my biological sister.

Kaylee and I never talked again after that night. It's been almost 2 weeks since that happened. She's back to treating me like I don't exist, but it's fine. I'm used to it. There are times that it still hurts when I see her because yes, I still have feelings towards her. But there are also times that it doesn't bother me anymore. Hindi na katulad ng dati na sobrang apektado ako. Malapit ko nang tuluyang matanggap na hindi na kami pwede, at hindi na niya maalala kung sino ako.

Cole is still traumatized. None of his friends confronted me about what I did to him so I assume he didn't tell them. But he's still avoiding me. Whenever I'm around, he will hide like I'm a serial killer. Well, I am. But he's supernatural. I don't know if I'm really scary or if he's just a coward.

I don't know how Arisa remembered me when she was on the verge of dying. Also how auntie almost remembers me. But after what I did to Collins and his memories didn't come back, I'm sure now that those incidents didn't happen because of death. I mentally sighed. Maybe there is really no way that they will still remember me.

"The others will be here in a minute." nakangiting sabi ni Elijah sa amin.

As expected. They always stick to each other. Marcial and Elijah are here, so they will eventually follow. We're sitting at a long table that can occupy the 15 of us. The other students will surely wonder why there are so many of us in our circle.

"Olivia?"

Mariin akong napapikit nang marinig ko ang boses na iyon. Napalingon ako sa aking likuran at nakita si Andrea na nakangiti. Damn. This is the first time that we saw each other here. I've been hiding from her. Whenever I hear her voice nearby, I will run away. I don't want her to be close to me. Maaaring mapahamak din siya.

"Who's that?" kunot noong tanong ni Val.

"A former classmate." I answered. "Excuse me." tumayo ako nagpaalam sa kanila.

Lumapit ako kay Andrea "Hey." ngiti ko sa kanya.

Hindi kami kalayuan sa mga kaibigan ko kaya naman naririnig ko ng malinaw ang mga bulong ni Quinn. She's wondering why I know Andrea. For some reason, they know her too. I'll just come up with a lie later.
