Prologue

"You really turn me on."

I smirked upon hearing that. We continued to make out, not minding the loud music and the other people here at the bar.

All I can think about is the pleasure running throughout my whole body right now.

"You smell so good."

I chuckled. "I know, darling."

She's touching every inch of my body like there's no tomorrow. I can't blame her. No one can resist my charm.

"What's your name again?" she asked while kissing my neck.

"You don't need to know." I answered lazily.

I felt her lips turn into a grin, still kissing me. "Mysterious. I like that."

She captured my lips again, devouring it like a predator. But I won't be the prey so I started kissing her roughly, fighting for dominance. I'm Olivia Sinclair. Hindi ako magpapatalo sa kung sino man.

Just when things are starting to feel real good, screams of people started to ring my ear. The girl and I stopped kissing and we watched the people run like their lives depend on it.

"What's happening?" sabi nung babae.

I don't know her name because I just met her a while ago.

"Don't mind them. Let's continue where we left off." I grabbed her arm and kissed her again, but she pushed me.

"Can't you see? Something's happening. We need to get out of here."

And with that, she ran towards the exit with the others. There's a stampede, but I don't care. Whatever's happening, I know I won't die.

But damn. What in the hell ruined my trip to heaven? I took a sip on my margarita. And then I smelled something.

The bar is on fire.

Oh, that's why they are panicking.

But what the fuck? Where did that fire start?

"I told you not to drink much! This is a mistake. You shouldn't have come here!"

Napatagil ako nang may narinig akong pamilyar na boses. Agad akong nagtago upang hindi nila ako makita.

Beside me, there are still few people left here. And I think, they're the ones who caused the fire.

"Come on, Eli. You haven't seen me in months. Didn't you miss your only little sister?" Jassy said drunkenly.

By the looks of it, I think she's the one who started the fire. They're all here. Jasmin, Elijah, Jed, Valerie, Collins, Marcial, Mikhael, Benjamin, Noah, and Kaylee.

"We should get out of here." Jed said calmly.

They all went to the other exit where no one will see them. Bago sila tuluyang makaalis, lumingon sa direksyon ko si Kaylee. Ilang beses siya napakurap bago tuluyang sumunod sa iba.

She didn't see me. They didn't see me. But I saw them, again.

I smirked.

I don't care about them.

It's been 3 years. They're all in my past now.

They used to be the most important people in my life.

And Kaylee used to be the one I love the most in this world.

But not anymore.

They don't even know I exist.
