Chapter 50

"It's semester break. Let's plan an outing." excited na sabi ni Cole.

"Let's go to another country." suhestiyon ni Raven. "I'm so sick here."

Umirap si Quinn sa sinabi niya. "We all know that you grew up in another country, R. Stop rubbing it in our faces."

"Little miss rich kid." pang aasar ni Val habang tumatawa.

"I'm not." Raven said firmly.

Napangisi ako. My family is rich because they've been alive for more than a thousand years but her family is richer. I don't know what Jasper did to have a huge amount of money. Gulat na gulat kaming lahat noong nakaraang buwan nang regaluhan ni Jasper sila Jed, Elijah at Jassy ng mamahaling mga sasakyan. Each car is worth millions, kaya naman laglag ang panga naming lahat. No wonder Liv was acting high and mighty. Jasper spoiled her so much for almost 4 years.

More than 2 months have passed since the day of the comet and I can say that we're all getting along now. Well, there are times when Val and Quinn still squabble but other than that, everything is fine.

Val and Liv switched rooms so Liv and I are roommates again. Ayaw pa ni Raven noong una pero pumayag din naman siya. Jassy is always annoyed because she has a lot of competition for her sister's attention and I swear her face always looks funny whenever Liv chooses me or Raven.

Kai and Josie are currently with Jasper and Chloe. Sometimes, they stay at our mansion because dad wants to. He considers them as grandkids and he's so happy when they're around. Sa dalawang buwan na nagdaan ay napalapit na din ako sa dalawang bata, lalo kay Kai. That kid is so smart and talented. We get along when it comes to arts. Mas malapit naman si Josie sa kanyang auntie Jassy. I love both of them. They're both adorable and sweet.

"I agree with Raven. Let's go to another country. I know someone who only went to another country once."

Agad kong hinampas sa braso si Liv dahil sa kanyang sinabi. Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin at natawa naman siya. She's getting more and more annoying as time passes.

"Dad won't let us. It's a miracle that he already dropped those fucking bodyguards." inis na sabi ko.

Isa pa, wala pa akong passport. Dapat noon pa ako kumuha. She's not a vampire anymore. She can't compel people to let me ride the plane without a passport.

"Are you sure about that?" tanong niya ng parang nanghahamon.

Napairap nalang ako. Yeah, right. Dad can't say no to her. Nagyayabang na naman siya at sobrang nakakainis.

"You sound so cocky, Olivia. That's not good." kunot noong singit ni Elijah sa usapan.

"Shut up. You're even worse than me, Elijah." Liv countered.

"What about the beach? It's hot even though it's not summer. The beach is perfect." Johanna suggested.

"I think that's a great idea." Marcial agreed.

Lahat sila ay sumang ayon. It will take us hours to get to the nearest beach but I don't mind. I like the idea.

"Let's watch Kaye carefully though. She's so short and she might drown."

Sinuntok ko sa braso si Olivia na mabilis na lumayo sa akin habang natatawa. Tawa din ng tawa ang iba. I don't know if it's just me, but I think Liv grew a little taller. Maybe because she's aging again and she was 17 when she died. Hindi nakapagtataka kung mas lalo pa siyang tatangkad. Nakakairita.

"I never thought you had a playful side, Z. You've always been so serious." natatawang sabi ni Johanna.

"She's like that when she's alone with me. I'm the favorite friend." mayabang na sabi ni Tristan na nakatanggap ng batok sa kanyang kapatid.
