I slowly opened my eyes. Kahit nahihirapan ay pinilit kong umupo. I feel so dizzy and hungry. Damn it.

"You're awake."

Halos mapatalon ako sa gulat nang marinig ko ang boses ni auntie Vera. Ilang beses akong napakurap at sinuri ang paligid. I'm inside a very familiar room. I bit my lower lip. It's the room I used to share with Kaye. So I'm in Haling Cove right now.

"Why am I here?" nanghihina kong tanong.

My eyes are getting blurry and I'm still disoriented. I never felt this weak since I became a vampire even though I only drink sips of blood. This means I've been out for days.

"Don't you remember what happened to you?" tanong ni auntie sa akin.

Napalunok ako habang inaalala ang mga nangyari. I touched my chest. My brother stabbed me with the white oak stake. He stabbed me. Ilang beses akong napakurap. Why am I still alive?

Nanghihina akong napatingin kay auntie. "Why am I still alive?" curious na tanong ko sa kanya.

"Simple." lumapit sa akin si auntie. "I got suspicious when Jed borrowed the white oak stake from me so I gave him a fake one. But..." she trailed off.

I know where this is going.

Auntie stared at me with her eyes full of curiosity. "Even if it's not the real stake, if you're normal heretic it still would've killed you. But it didn't. You're in front of me, alive. I've been watching you since the incident with Val happened. I witnessed Jed kill you. You dessicated, but only for a short time so I brought you home. Who are you, Olivia?"

Hindi ko alam kung dahil ba ito sa sobrang panghihina ko ngayon, pero hindi ko na napigilan ang sarili kong umiyak. Hindi ako makapagsalita. Should I tell her everything now? What if she wouldn't believe me?

Kumunot ang kanyang noo. "I knew you were lying when you told me that Kaylee gave you her blood. I'm sorry but while you're unconscious, I poured some water with wolfsbane on your skin and it burned, confirming my theory that you really are a tribrid. The only tribrid in this world is my niece, Kaylee. Danielle can't bear another child since she's technically dead so I'm sure you're not Zeke's child. How did you become one?" she asked softly.

"Auntie." tawag ko sa kanya na ikinagulat niya. "I honestly don't know how to explain everything." humihikbing sabi ko.

"If you can't explain it, you can show me." nakangiting sabi niya.

"You're trusting me?" ilang beses akong napakurap.

Nakuha ko agad ang gusto niyang sabihin. She will use mind dive on me. But thoughts can be easily altered. I can show her different memories if I choose to.

"I don't trust you, Olivia. Right now at least. That's why I want you to show me how you became a tribrid. Then I will judge if what you showed is real or not." paliwanag niya.

Napatango at pumikit. I felt her hand on my shoulder so I started to think about everything I can remember since my childhood. I showed her my memories playing with Kaylee as a child, even the times we were fighting. I showed her how we got out from the fire when auntie Riley saved us, our life at Greenhill, the times she taught me and Kaylee about history, how uncle Kinley and aunt Riley taught us magic, how uncle Dawn taught us how to fight, how uncle Harlan taught me music, and some of the best moments I had with mom and dad. I showed her the night they made the ritual to make me a tribrid, the night Kaylee and I first turned, the events after that until the day Almira cursed me to be forgotten by everyone.

Napahiwalay sa akin si auntie at napaatras. She's speechless, and I can't blame her. Hindi ko din siya masisisi kung hindi siya maniniwala sa lahat ng ipinakita ko.
