Chapter 30

"No, I will not hide here." I said firmly.

"Why are you so stubborn? Making everyone believe you're already dead is useless if you'll just wander around." Raven countered.

She will go back to Valenn now and I want to go with her. Of course, she doesn't want to. She's back to being my mom again.

"I won't be seen, I promise." I smiled innocently.

Mabilis siyang umiling. "You don't have to worry about us, Olivia. Collins said that he spotted some of the Sinclairs' goons watching us. We're safe."

Gale is still alive and he has a very dangerous weapon that can harm all of them. I want to make sure they're safe. Damn that bastard. He cloaked himself so no one will find him. I cloaked myself also. I don't want my aunties to find me. I have a backup plan in finding Gale but for that to work, I need to go back to Valenn.

"I'll go with you and that's final." mariin na sabi ko.

Halata sa mukha niya na naiinis na siya sa akin. Jasper and Chloe laughed at us. They've been watching us since we started to argue.

"Don't fight, kiddos. Emerald and I used to argue like that when we were kids. Therefore, the two of you are still kids." natatawang sabi ni Jasper.

Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin. Maging si Raven ay ganoon ang ginawa. He kinda reminds me of dad when he's being this playful. He's irritating tho.

Having a kid really changes a person. My dad was a notorious serial killer before and he will kill without remorse, but he changed when he had Kaylee. That's what happened to Jasper too. He changed from a black sheep of the family who tried to kill his twin sister for power and kidnapped his niece and nephew to being a loving father when he had Raven.

"I'm not a kid, dad. Olivia is. She's the stubborn one." Raven said while staring seriously at me.

I raised one of my brows. "Excuse me? You're the one who started this argument. You're the kid." I emphasized.

Nagsukatan kami ng tingin, walang gustong magpatalo. I'm not an idiot to let anyone see me. Why can't she just trust me with this one?

"Enough of that. Both of you are kids." saad ni Chloe at bumaling kay Raven. "Just let Olivia do whatever she wants. She can handle herself." bumaling naman siya sa akin. "Olivia, be safe and don't do any rash actions. My friend has a vacation house in the town next to Valenn. She's temporarily staying there and she'll leave this afternoon. I'll give you the address. You can compel her to let you in."

"Thank you, Chloe." pasalamat ko at ngumisi sa pinsan kong hindi maipinta ang mukha ngayon.

"Here Olivia." Jasper tossed me something.

Mas lalo akong napangisi nang makita ko ang ibinigay niya. It's a car key.

"Is this new?" tanong ko sa kanya.

He smirked. "You guess."

I left my car at the place where Jed stabbed me. I don't think I can still use that car. There's a possibility that people will figure out I'm still alive.

"And here's a phone. Make sure to always contact us." wika naman ni Chloe na nag abot sa akin ng isang box.

Perfect. Jasper and Chloe always spoil me, even when they thought I turned off my humanity. Chloe is kind, and I know Jasper's doing those things so he can make up to me for everything he did before. I so love them both.

"Why does everyone favor this girl?" Raven said while frowning.

Jasper laughed. "Ask yourself, kiddo. You do that a lot too."
