Chapter 34

Three days passed in a blink of an eye. Olivia and I stayed in this house for the whole three days. We only leave if we need something important to buy outside. Wala kaming ibang ginawa kundi tumunganga at minsan ay nag uusap tungkol sa kung ano ano, ngunit hindi ako nakaramdam ng pagkabagot.

She's a boring person to be honest. I even caught her once studying using her phone. She reminds me of Elijah who is also a study freak. Jed and Val are both studious too but they know how to have fun. Meanwhile, Olivia's definition of fun is either killing people or drinking alcohol.

"I can handle this alone." she said firmly.

"If you will not tag me along, I'll tell Raven what you did. I have her number and I'm sure that if she learns about it, she's going to ki—"

"Okay fine!" pagsuko niya. "Just don't tell her about it." she added, almost pleading.

Napangisi ako. Bingo. She really is scared of Raven. Sigurado akong pag nalaman ni Raven ang ginawa niyang paggamit ng droga ay hindi ito magdadalawang isip na paliparin ang kanyang sasakyan papunta dito.

I confronted her about it and she said that's just one time. She also promised that she won't use again as long as I keep it from Raven.

I also asked her again about the siblings she mentioned when she came back to her senses but she didn't say a thing. I'm actually tempted to drug her again and ask about what she's hiding, but I'm also against her using drugs so I won't do it. She's very smart, that's obvious. But she's also an idiot.

Malawak ang ngiti ko nang pumasok ako sa front seat ng kanyang sasakyan. Hindi naman maipinta ang kanyang mukha dahil tutol siya sa pagsama ko. She's wearing the ball cap I bought her, also the mask with teddy bear prints.

"You're a heretic serial killer but you're afraid of a siphon witch?" natatawang sabi ko habang inaayos ang seatbelt.

"You don't know Raven. She's scary when she's mad." nakangiwing sabi niya. "She's almost as scary as Val." binulong niya ang kanyang huling sinabi pero narinig ko naman.

I don't have enhanced hearing, but I have good ears. Madalas yan sabihin sa akin ng mga tao sa paligid ko.

Pinaningkitan ko siya ng mga mata. "So you're more scared of Val than your own sister?" I asked curiously.

Apat na taon ko ng kilala si Val ngunit ni minsan ay hindi ko pa siya nakitang magalit ng sobra. When she learned that Jed is not her biological brother, she just cried. Yes, Val can be serious sometimes but she's not scary at all. She's actually playful most of the time. If Olivia is Collins, I would understand. Cole's always afraid of Val. Pero paano niya iyon nasabi? Are they really that close?
