Chapter 45

"I'm nervous."

Sinulyapan ko si Olivia sa tabi ko. Kaming dalawa pa lang ang nandito kasama sila mommy at auntie Vera. Aunt Riley went somewhere but will come back soon. Dad and my uncles are on their way too.

Hinahawakan ko ang kamay niya. "Calm down, Olivia. Everything's gonna be alright." pagpapakalma ko kahit ako mismo ay kinakabahan din.

Aunt Riley looked more serious than ever. I hope she will not tell us bad news.

Kumunot ang noo ko nang makita ang dalawang taong pumasok sa pinto ng bahay. Nagulat naman si Olivia at mabilis na napabitaw sa kamay ko upang salubungin ang dalawang taong iyon.

I recognized them as the man and woman in one of the pictures at Olivia's room. It's Jasper Morgan and Raven's mom. What are they doing here?

"Why are you both here?" tanong sa kanila ni Olivia.

"I don't know. Riley Sinclair told us to come." Jasper answered.

"Where's Raven?" muling tanong ni Olivia.

"Your cousin is on her way here with your friends. I think they're almost here." Raven's mom answered.

Lalong kumunot ang noo ko.

Cousin?

Isn't Raven Olivia's sister?

I'm so confused and I want to ask Olivia about it but people started to swarm our living room. Magkakasunod na dumating ang lahat ng kaibigan ko at kaibigan ni Olivia.

"Z!" tawag ni Quinn at tumakbo papunta kay Olivia upang yakapin ito.

"Why are you guys here?" tanong niya.

Si Raven ang sumagot. "They insisted on coming so I didn't have a choice but to bring them."

"Oh my God. That's Jasper Morgan." bulong ni Jassy sa tabi ko. "My parents are on their way here. They'll see him."

Mukhang narinig ni Jasper ang sinabi ni Jassy kaya napatingin siya sa amin. Tinignan niya isa isa sila Jed, Elijah at Jassy.

"My nephews and my other niece are all grown ups. You were only little kids when I last saw you." he said, smiling. "Your other brother looks a lot like you, Olivia."

"Dad!" sigaw ni Raven. "They still don't know about that." ibinulong niya ang kanyang huling sinabi ngunit hindi iyon nakatakas sa aking pandinig.

Olivia is now looking down. Confusion is written all over Elijah and Jassy's face. Hindi naman nagbago ang ekspresyon sa mukha ni Jed na mukhang may ideya na sa nangyayari.

Napatitig ako kay Olivia. Like always, she's biting her lower lip. Raven is whispering something to her that I can't hear. I'm right. She really was referring to Jed, Elijah and Jassy when she talked about her other siblings. But I don't understand. They didn't know her until the time we went to Valenn.

Natahimik ang lahat at wala ni isa ang gustong magsalita. Gustong gusto kong puntahan si Olivia at tanungin siya tungkol dito ngunit hindi ko magawa dahil maging ako ay napako sa kinatatayuan ko.

What else is she hiding?

"Jasper?"

Lahat kami ay napatingin sa bagong dating. Emerald Whitlock is looking at Jasper with her teary eyes. Isaiah on the other hand looks mad. He's clenching his fist while looking at Jasper.

"You're alive." halos nauutal na sabi ni Emerald.

Jasper smiled at her. "Nice to see you again, twin sister."

Tuluyan nang naiyak si Emerald at halos mapaupo sa sahig. I can tell that those tears are because of happiness. She's glad to know that her brother is alive. Inalalayan siyang tumayo ng kanyang asawa na hindi pa rin nawawala ang galit sa mukha.
