"You're familiar. I saw you before." wika ni Andrea.

Hindi siya pinansin ni Alexa. Nanatili itong nakatingin sa akin ng masama.

"Andrea, I think you need to get out of here—"

Hindi ko pa natatapos ang sinasabi ko nang biglang sumugod sa akin si Alexa. Mabilis ko siyang naiwasan.

"What's happening? How can you two move so fast?" Andrea said, slightly shaking because of fear. "What are yo—"

I don't know what to say to her so I put her to sleep. Mabilis kong sinalo ang kanyang katawan bago ito tuluyang bumagsak sa lupa.

"I'm gonna kill you!" galit na sigaw sa akin ni Alexa.

Her eyes are red as blood and she's showing her fangs. I can feel her extreme bloodlust from where I am standing. She said my real name. She called me Sinclair. She knows who I am. But how?

Something like this happened before. Arisa remembered who I am when she was on the verge of dying. I killed Alexa. Is that the reason why she can remember me?

Maingat kong inihiga sa lupa si Andrea bago hinarap si Alexa. "I'm sorry about what I did to you." wika ko na puno ng sinseridad.

If she's the one who sent me that threat, I can only kill her or make her forgive me. She's no match to my old friends, but she's dangerous to Quinn, Johanna and Tristan. I don't want them to get hurt.

Everything she said is true, but there's something that caught my attention.

She attacked me again, but I can tell that she's not yet used to her vampire speed. Her attacks are sloppy so I easily evaded them. Is this really the person who sent me that threat?

"I know you're mad at me, but I really don't want to do this near Asher's grave." I said while still evading her attacks.

"You have no right to say his name!" she threw a strong punch and it landed straight to my face.

Tumigil ako sa pag iwas at hinayaan siyang ibuhos ang kanyang galit. She's right. I'm the reason why Asher died. The physical pain I am feeling right now is nothing compared to the emotional trauma that Asher's loved ones felt. She attacked me for I don't know how long until she stopped. For the first time, I feel guilty for killing someone. Hinayaan ko lang siyang umiyak hanggang sa kumalma siya. When she did, she went in front of Asher's grave and just like I did earlier, she caressed his name carven on the tombstone.

"Before I went to high school, we moved to Valenn to start over. My mom died so we had to leave her hometown. Asher and I remained friends. Whenever we talk, he always complains about how boring this town is and that someday, he will leave. Until one day, he started telling me stories about an amazing girl he met.
