Kathleen POV's
Naglelecture ngayon ang Prof. namin sa History. Some of My classmates seem to be out of their minds and others are just sleeping.
"Class, do you have questions? Malinaw na ba?" Tanong ni Prof.
"Wala na po." Sabay-sabay naming tugon sa kaniya.
"If you don't have any questions or concerns, please bring out your assignment then pass your notebook. After that you will recite to me a 1987 Philippine Constitution of Preamble."
Mabuti nalang nagkabisado ako kagabi kaya medyo puyat.
What?...
Napasabunot sa buhok si Ann. Halatang hindi ito nag review. Bisyo kasi laging magpuyat eh, Basa kasi ng basa ng Wattpad. She is not prepared.
"Ok let's start, random ang gagawin kong recitation, so all you have to do is brace yourselves and be ready. Once I call your name then come here to the front."
"Let's begin, Ms Pamintuan? Please recite preamble." Pag uutos niya sa isa naming kaklase.
"M-ma'am? A-ano po eh..." Pautal niyang sabi.
Shocks! Lalong nanindig balahibo ko. Hay! Kaya ko 'to, chill lang chill.
"Hurry up! May kasunod ka pa." Inis niyang sabi habang hawak niya yung index card. But sad to say, she didn't answer.
"Singko! Halatang di kayo nag aral sa bahay. Next, Ms Barbara."
Masungit pa naman itong si Prof. Once you don't do the task, automatic bagsak kana sa recitation damay na pati performance.
"Singko! Walang gawa. Let's proceed to Ms....Dela Rosa."
Paktay!
I know I can do this, I know I'm ready...Be positive lang and be confident. Kaya ko'to, Go up!
"Preamble. We, the sovereign Filipino people, imploring the aid of Almighty God, in order to build a just and humane society, and establish a Government that shall embody our ideals and aspirations, promote the common good, conserve and develop our patrimony, and secure to ourselves and our posterity, the blessings of independence and democracy under the rule of law and a regime of truth, justice, freedom, love, equality, and peace, do ordain and promulgate this Constitution."
—The 1987 Philippine Constitution
"Very good, Mr Dela Rosa! You may now sit."
Minarkahan ni Prof. Yung index card. Nasa part din na nakaka Mental block ang mag recite minsan, but ultimately I did because I thought na hindi ko kakayanin. When I'm in front of those people, it's inevitable that you'll be overcome with nervousness, but if you don't think about those things, you'll get over it. Kaya cheer up sa mga napanghihinaan ng loob I know you did great and I'm proud.
"Ok next, Rodriguez!"
"What's wrong with you, Ms Rodriguez? May nakakatawa ba?
