Maddison Scott
The next day, I wake up beside Grace and Lia. The couch is nice, but not as nice as Hunter's bed. I have no idea why he's mad at me. I didn't do anything.
I wake up and make breakfast for everyone once I get a call from my mom.
"Hey mom, what's up?"
"Hey sweetie, how are you?"
"I'm good. How's dad?"
"He's feeling better." I can tell she's lying.
"So I was wondering if I could come over and make some food for you and your friends?"
"Sure, what time?"
"around 3"
"Ok, well, I've got to go make breakfast for everyone right now, but I love you."
"love you too"
My mom is a great cook. She makes the best pie, so I assume that's what she's coming over to make today.
After I'm done making breakfast, I call everyone down to eat.
"Good morning," I say.
"Good morning"
"looks great!" Lia says
"Tastes even better!" Grace says
Oh, by the way, my mom is coming to make something today at 3, if that's ok," I say.
They all agree, and we all get ready for the day. Riley asked me if I wanted to go get coffee with him, and I said yes. I haven't seen him in a long time.
After I'm done getting ready, I tell Carter where I'll be, and I head out. The coffee shop is not too far from here; it takes me about 7 minutes to get there.
Once I'm there, I'm greeted by Riley.
"Hey beautiful," he says.
Hi," I say, smiling.
We Grab a table and sit down, getting ready to order.
"So what have you been up to?" I ask.
"Just soccer and hanging out with friends. you?"
"Pretty much the same except for soccer," I say.
We have a few more conversations, and he asks to take me home.
I agree, and we go in my car since he walked here.
Once we get to the soccer house, he forces himself in.
"So why don't we get a room?" he says, smirking.
"No, that's not a good idea," I say, scared.
"No, really, it's going to be fun," he says, gripping my arm.
Riley, you're hurting me," I say.
"I'll stop once we get a room," He says forcefully.
Riley, stop," I tell him, raising my voice.
Hunter comes down with a confused look in his face.
Riley, you know coach said you're banned from this house, right?"
"I know, but Maddie wants me here."
No, I don't," I say.
"Just leave," Hunter says.
No, I'm not leaving," Riley says back.
Hunter walked up to him, grabbed him by the shirt, and whispered something in his ear. It must have been bad because Riley left very fast.
