I woke up the next day the most excited I've ever been. It's Christmas Eve, baby.

Hunter, wake up," I say.

"fuck off"

"Wake the fuck up."

He sits up and throws a pillow at me.

I throw it back, grab some clothes, and head into the washroom to change and get ready for the day.

Once Im done, I clean up my side of the room until Hunter's done.

We both walk downstairs to see the house decorated with a bunch of Christmas decorations.

"HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVE!" Grace says from the couch

"You guys did this?" Hunter asks

Yup, we stayed up all night," Sam says.

We walk through the doorway to the kitchen before we're stopped by Lia.

Guys, stop," she says.

"Why?" I and Hunter both say.

"Mistletoe," she says, looking above us.

Grace looks at me and winks, like she planned this.

I lean over and kiss Hunter on the cheek.

"there happy?" I say

"Very," Lia says.

I roll my eyes, and we both walk into the kitchen.

"I don't think your boyfriend deserved just a cheek kiss," Hunter says, smirking.

You're not my boyfriend," I say.

"yet"

"Shut up"

I make some pre-made cookies and put them in the oven.

Ok, guys, we need to put up the tree," I say, walking back into the living room.

"Oh shit yeah," Carter says.

"Me and Carter will go get one," Sam says.

Okay," Lia says.

"We need ornaments, though," Grace says.

"I can get some from my mom's house," Hunter offers.

Yeah, that's good," Grace says.

"I'll come," I say.

We get into my car and drive to Hunter's mom's house.

Once we're there, we knock on the door and wait for a response.

"Hey guys, what are you doing here?" Hunter's mom asks

"Can we borrow some ornaments?" Hunter asks

"Of course, let me grab them," she says.

We walk in, and I say hi to Lily.

"Hey lily! Are you excited for Christmas?" I ask

YES, YES, AND YES!" she says.

Hunter's mom comes back with the ornaments, so we grab them and go.

"It's so cold, holy shit," I say.

"Maybe don't wear t-shirts in the winter," Hunter says, rolling his eyes.

Once we get in, Hunter throws his hoodie at me.

Thanks," I say.

We drive back home and take the ornaments out of the trunk.

"We're back!" I yell from the kitchen.

We walk into the living room, and Carter and Sam have just finished putting up the tree.

We all decorated it, making sure it looked good, but I totally forgot to wrap the presents I got them.

I walk upstairs and grab the wrapping from the closet along with the gifts.

I start by wrapping Grace and Lia's gifts when Hunter comes in.

"What are you doing?" he asked, sitting beside me.

"Wrapping presents," I say.

I grab Carter's and quickly wrap it, then I do Sam's.

Hunter, get out."

"Why?"

"I'm wrapping your gift."

Fine," he says, walking out.

I wrap his gift, then head downstairs with the gifts in my hands.

Ooo, are those for me?" Cater says.

"Don't touch them," I say, putting them under the tree.

"6 more hours till midnight!" Lia says

"Should we put on a Christmas movie?" I ask

Yes, but I pick," Sam says, grabbing the remote.

He puts on Home Alone, and we all lay down on the couch.

The couples are cuddling together, while me and Hunter are just lying down beside each other.

I don't know why, but eating Home Alone always makes me tired, so before I know it, I'm asleep.

I wake up to Hunter's hand wrapped around my waist and his head laying above mine.

I untangle myself from his touch and sit up.

"What time is it?" I ask.

"It's 10; we already watched the second one."
Grace replies

"Oh shit, sorry," I say.

"We should go get ice cream," Carter suggests.

Yeah, we should," Lia says.

Ok, get Hunter up and let's go," Sam says.

Hunter, wake up," I say.

"fuck off"

"We're going to get ice cream," I say.

He slowly sits up, and we all walk to the cars.

Ok, me, Lia, and Grace in mine," I say, grabbing my keys.

We all get in my car and drive to the nearest ice cream shop.

Maddison, what's going on between you and Hunter?" Lia says.

"Nothing is going on," I say.

Girl, you guys were cuddling on the couch, and you're always together," Grace says.

"It's not like that," I say.

Mhm, sure" Lia says.

"I promise," I say.

We arrive at the ice cream store, and we all walk in.

We all order, and I get cookie dough because it's the best flavour.

Ew, why did you get mint?" I say to Hunter.

"Because it's the best," he says.

No, that's disgusting," I say.

"Whatever"

Guys, one more hour till midnight!" Grace says

"I was thinking I could make Breakfast tomorrow morning; does that sound good?" I say

"Hell yeah," Sam says.

Once we're all done with our ice cream, we get back into our cars and drive back home.

"10 more minutes!" Lia says

We all sit on the couch and wait until midnight.

"MERRY CHRISTMAS!" Grace says

We all say Merry Christmas, then walk.
back upstairs to go to bed.

"Good night," Hunter says.

"Good night," I say as I fall asleep.
