15: bowl of tuna

Taehyung had packed up his bag for when they would land and headed out. They were about to land any moment now. Jungkook said he was going to help zuzu find a good landing spot but he hasn't returned yet. and it was taking quite long, so Taehyung decided to check up on him. Setting a step outside he felt the warmth of the sun on his exposed skin and smiled, taking a deep breath of the ocean scented air. He never thought he would get to see all these things, and he was grateful for Jungkook to have come on his path. This is his future, this is what he was meant to do, go out, see things, help people. Be someone greater... He shook his head getting his thoughts bak and looked around.

Luckily Zuzu was not THAT big, you could see the whole thing in a head turn, except for the part behind the house of course. but there was nothing special there. Sooo, he found Jungkook quickly. He was sitting on Zuzu, her head, his legs crossed and head looking down... not at the sea but just down, like he was sleeping.

"..."

'A cold hair went through his hair when he left the cabin, carrying a slice of bread in his hands along with a water bag which was merely half full.

"it's him again, ew. creep" one of the other kids said.

"Jungkook is so weird," the other said. Jungkook tried to ignore it and he turned his head away scoffing at them to himself. He hated it here. He had never felt welcome, they barely shared the food with him, and the kids never wanted to play. They ignore him or bully him for the way he looks.

"I bet that's why he doesn't have any parents, they probably abandoned him when they saw his fake eyes." The footsteps got closer and Jungkook felt a harsh push against his back, he fell over on his knees and dropped the bread, watching it fall into the dirt. "isn't that right? They just let you here hoping you'd starve. you don't deserve to be eating our food. We work hard for it. What do you do? nothing!" the kid seemed to be getting angrier. he frowned at the lack of reaction from Jungkook. "are you mute now too?"

"Shut up" Jungkook muttered and tried to get back up but the kid just pushed him over again, the bread not covered in dirt.

"If I was in charge I would have dumped you off the road already," he said and looked at Jungkook in disgust. "Monster kid" he stomped his foot on the water sack and the lid popped off, splashing the water over the dirt, sinking away into the ground. "starve" and with that they turned around, walking away.

behind their backs Jungkook was on his knees, his hands gripping the grass and dirt tightly feeling the grass break between his fingers. "I hate them, I hate them, I hate them" he muttered and the words of them repeated in his head. it only raised the anger inside of him more until it was too much. Jungkook snapped his gaze to the two bullies and his purple eye started to glow. Before he realised the forest leaves were dripping with red-'

"Jungkook!!"

the wizard's eyes snapped open and within a second he was off her head and standing in front of taehyung with a worried look. "What happened?! Are you okay?"

"im fine im fine, i have been calling you for over ten times already, you would not respond! i thought"

"oh, sorry, i was a bit lost in my... thoughts" Jungkook said and his face saddened but he covered that up by turning around and energetically ordering her to land.

They have landed and found a good spot for zuzu to stay. She blended perfectly with the grounds around her and hid away well. So now the two were out in the city, they had dropped off their bags at the room in the local inn. but they were hungry and were looking for something to eat.

"don't the people here get hot? its burning here" taehyung said while looking around him, they had changed their clothes in something thinner and less covering for the heat, but still he felt as if he was going to melt.

"They live here, they are used to living in this heat and know how to deal with that. you just got here" Jungkook said. "Anyway, what do you want to eat? I know that the fish is amazing here."

"Then let's get some fish" Taehyung smiled and quickened his steps to walk right next to Jungkook, their shoulders brushing against each other for a second.

"You sure like being close to me, hmm" Jungkook chuckled and glanced at the other.

"a-ah that was an accident, i uhh. well. yes but-"

"no need to be shy" jungkook teased some more, but then he decided not to push it too far. "i'm just glad you are not uncomfortable being around me"

"Of course I'm not, I feel safe with you... I don't really get how but I just... do, there is something about you"

These words seemed to ring a bell with Jungkook, the wizards eyes widened a little and he looked at taehyung. "That's good," he said and turned to look back in front of him.

"ohh this is SO COOL!!" Taehyung was in awe and he ran ahead onto the seaside market. a lot of market stalls with colorful flags decorating above them between each stall. There were even kites in the shapes of sea animals sailing on in the air.

"hey, wait up" Jungkook quickly ran after the other who was about to get lost in the crowd. luckily he caught up because taehyung stopped walking at a stall with tuna bowls.

"tunaaaa"

"you like tuna?"

"yes, oh my, i love it" taehyung clapped his hands excitedly and his mouth almost watered seeing the delicious fresh tuna pieces with a scoop of rice next to it.

"you want one?"

"But what about you?" Taehyung asked.

"I will just get something somewhere else, I have a specific thing in mind, I want the octopus skewers. i had them last time as well"

"then, if it's okay i'd like one of these bowls..'' Taehyung said shyly.

Jungkook smiled fondly and took out some of his money, handing the stall owner the ten coins he asked for the food and let taehyung pick the bowl he wanted.

"Okay let's continue" Taehyung said once he had his food in hand.

"Are you not going to eat it?"

"yes but let's first get something for you and then eat somewhere together. this is cold anyway." the prince smiled. and Jungkook felt happy. Taehyung was such a kind person.

"Okay, good plan. lets go" they walked together through the market, chatting about things and joking. Everything was going so well.
