50: attitude

It is the next day. After Jungkook ran off he didn't find him again and returned to the pharmacy. Jimin was worried that he returned so late but he was glad Taehyung at least saw Jungkook, which would mean he is alive and out there. If it was good they don't know. Because now it was confirmed that the bad rumors were about him....

But Taehyung won't give up, he will find him and speak with him. He needs answers. But before he can leave he will need some food, he can't go out on an empty stomach. Which is what he was doing now. Sitting with Jimin at the table, once Jimin's parents finished their coffee and left the table they opened a conversation.

"Do you think he has a good reason for changing like that?" Taehyung asked.

"the rumors?"

"yea.."

"i don't know. I haven't seen him since he brought you back home. He never returned, so I don't know. But....He must have, right? But at the same time. He told me did things in his past. Maybe this is the real him"

"I don't know.... It's just so sudden, if he was faking I would at least have seen some signs before. It doesn't make sense. But he can't run from me. I will find him again today and talk to him. I just hope the people are wrong and he is still the fun and kind wizard. '' Taehyung smiled at the last words. Oh how he wished to hug him again. His mind could never forget the goodbye kiss. He didn't think it would happen, but he was glad it did.

"please be careful..."

"I will, don't worry it's just Jungkook," the human shrugged.

"That's what's concerning..." Jimin sad softly and stood up, taking their empty plates with him. "uh, if you come back i will be helping my parents in the shop, just walk in and I'll give you the front door keys."

"Y...Yea, sure, will do" taehyung frowned. He wanted to ask Jimin what he muttered just there but he was already out of the room. He made a mental note to ask him about later, also hoping that he won't forget it like usual.
First he had to go out and get his first lead to where the raven might be hanging around here.

Taehyung was in the city. He had been asking around if anyone had seen that wizard again, but no one seemed to have seen him yet, at least, not the same day.

"Ugh, this is getting nowhere," Taehyung sighed. Maybe he should go back for lunch and continue later today. Jungkook might be doing somewhere or out of the city and return later? Who knows. He could literally be anywhere right now.
But something in Taehyung couldn't give up. He had a strong will to finish what he planned to do, and he would not stop until he had found at least something.

Yes.

He gave himself a mental pat on the back for being so strong. He wasn't a weak Prince anymore. His mind was getting stronger with every task. And so did his body. He was feeling more confident than ever.

With his good mood he kept exploring the city until he reached the front gate plaza. A spot that touches all main roads. Surprisingly not crowded at all.

Which was a good thing because now he saw him right away.

Can't miss it.

His black hair and flowy coat moving in the wind. It was Jungkook after all. His search wasn't for nothing, he still managed to run into him a second time.
But why was he even there? He was just....Standing there.

"Jungkook," he said while he was about two meters from the other.  Jungkook seemed to stiffen for a quick second before he turned around on his heels and gave the other a quick but odd smile.

Yup, there he was. This time standing right in front of him.

"Taehyung, it is...You" Jungkook said, his eyes looking at the other, taking in the details. His purple right eye moved with his other brown one.

"where....Where have you been?...." Taehyung asked with disappointment. "I waited for you. You promised to come get me when this was over. But you never showed up!"

The frustration in his voice seemed to surprise the wizard whose eyes widened at the raise of his voice. "I had other things to do. You were not one of them. '' but not surprised enough to drop this attitude of his. What was his problem? What happened to him the past weeks, why is he being like this to him, after all they promised to each other....

It was annoying Taehyung.

"Why are you so mean now? I thought you were a good hearted person, I didn't want to believe the rumors... But i can now confirm myself that they were right....You changed"

"people change Prince Taehyung, judging by your eyes you did too"

Taehyung felt like punching the air right now but he didn't. Instead he frowned at what the other said. "wait but you said that these eyes wouldn't affect me."

"oh, they do. You won't die from it, no no.  Just some other things, you will figure them out. But probably never because I will need you to go back home" Jungkook smiled, his eyes turned into slids for a good two seconds.

"But, I just got here. I just found you!"

"There is nothing for you here. Only disappointment" Jungkook turned around and started walking away.

Taehyung wasn't going to stop this so quickly and shouted another question at him. "what about Zuzu''

Jungkook halted and was silent for a moment. He looked back and showed a smile. "he is doing fine, now shoo shoo be gone. I have no need for you anymore"  and with that he walked off. Leaving Taehyung with loads of questions and thoughts.
