55: fighting evil

Taehyung felt the confidence sink in his shoes. He clasped the sword tightly in his hand and slowly backed away from the copy of Jungkook.

"You did not listen" Jungkook(?) said and tilted his head. He looked different than before. He looked...Off. "now i will get rid of you....But this is even better...." he chuckled and glanced at the chained Jungkook. "he gets to see you die...Twice"

"n...No!" Jungkook managed to get out. But right after he began to cough and groan in pain. This concerned the prince who sadly was now able to even look at him.

"just...Just leave us alone. What do you want from him?!" Taehyung asked, still slowly being pressured into a corner.

"i have no need for you. You're just an obstacle for me to get to him" he pointed at Jungkook. "there is no need for you to know these things" Jungkook(?) did waste another word and swung his arm. A flash of light came from the swing and created a lighting strike at the human.

Taehyung yelped and jumped away, stumbling in his fall.

"So weak and afraid... Is this the savior you had in mind?" jungkook(?) said mockingly and frightened the other even more by throwing more lighting his way but barely hitting him.

When he stopped his swings Taehyung got back on his feet holding the sword firmly again. He was not going to give up. He will fight here, even if he has no experience in battle. He will fight for Jungkook with everything he has.

Jungkook(?) frowned and began to use the cave's walls to attack. Breaking off pieces of stone that flew at the other. Taehyung managed to block the smaller rocks with the bacm of his sword and ducked away for the bigger ones.

"Stop running fool!"

Taehyung did not reply. Instead he watched how Jungkook(?) used his magic to break a huge chunk of rock and threw it at him. Taehyung ducked under the rock and got right in front of the evil copy. Quickly he used his strength to swing his sword. Jungkook(?) was too late to step back and felt the blade slice his chest and cheek. Blood slowly started to flow out of the wound staining his clothes.

He hissed and put hand on his cheek feeling the blood slip through his fingers. "you filthy rat!" he shouted. His eye glowed a bright purple and the ground started to shake. Tawhyung stumbled back from the shaking and because of that barely managed to miss a sharp purple crystal shooting up from the ground below him. He felt his heart in his throat seeing that he could have died from that right there.

It didn't stop at that. Jungkook(?) was furious. He kept creating these spikes trying to pierce Taehyung. Not knowing that these actions made the ground weaker and weaker. A thick crack had started to appear that only Taehyung seemed to notice.

"ah!" Taehyung gasped when he felt a spike cut past his side piercing through the fabric of his undershirt that was now caught by the crystal.

"got you now, rat!" Jungkook(?) said. His eyes looked like they were burning with anger. Anger that got converted into electricity. A few sharp sparks were seen on his fingers before he shot it forward. Taehyung ripped off the piece of cloth and held his head as he curled into a ball. A bright and loud lighting waa fired and parts of the cave's ceiling fell down. So did the crack. A part of the ground broke off right under Jungkook(?)'s right foot. He fell over but managed to grab the edge to prevent him from falling down.

"stupid cave!"

Taehyung stood up holding his sword that felt so heavy now. He approached the struggling Jungkook(?) and seemed to hesitate.....

But seeing the evil look in his eyes he stopped thinking and just kicked the other down into the hole. A scream left the raven's lips as he fell down, his voice faded into the depth.

It went silent.

Taehyung placed a hand on his forehead. "what have i done..."

"t...Tae" Jungkook's voice was heard. Immediately Taehyung's ming was taken over with thoughts of him and he rushed back to HIS wizard.

"Jungkook, oh my....Jungkook its you its actually you. I searched for you!"

"unchain me...H-he's too strong. You c-cant....Fight him." Jungkook spoke. But his voice was so tired.

"You have to get out of here" Taehyung muttered and got to work. There wasn't really a key to get the chains off so he used his sword to pry open the bended metal and some of the screws. Definitely will blunt his tip but he can get that fixed later.

"h-hurry.....He's..." Jungkook didn't finish his words, it was already too late. His eyes looked at the hole where two hands grabbed the edge and pulled up a bloody Jungkook(?) the side of his head was bleeding heavily not only the cut but also his eyes and forehead. Some pieces of stone stuck to the blood. He really must have taken a hit down there. He limped in his walk and right arm seems dislocated.

"y-you......Will...Die!" Jungkook(?) pointed at Taehyung. He laughed weirdly.

*cling cling* the sound of metal rings falling on the ground echoed in the cave.

Taehyung had opened the last chains and freed Jungkook. The raven immediately jumped up with a burst of adrenaline and dragged out a big amount of magic from him. A huge wave of fire appeared around him that he pushed forward in a spin creating a fire tornado that took Jungkook(?) with it through the cave, his screams once more filling the space.

Jungkook then grabbed Taehyung's hand and everything turned black.....

"..."

Taehyung could not process what just happened and they already were on a field. Both falling down as if they were spit out of the air. Which they kind of were.

"ugh" taehyung huffed out when he hit the ground. Grass poking in his eyes. He crawled on his knees and looked at Jungkook who had let go of his hand. He weakly got on his knees as well.

"Jungk- '' Taehyung didn't get to finish the first word. The wizard had pulled him into a tight hug, squeezing him as if he was going to leave.

"Taehyung...." Jungkook said softly. "i love you, i love you"

This took the other completely off guard. His eyes widened and he hugged the other back. "i....I love you too"

"h-how did you even get here? You shouldn't be here.... I thought I was hallucinating!"

"I'm here. I came to look for you....You didn't come for me"

"i...I-im sorry. Im so sorry" Jungkook parted from the hug and tried to stand up but he fell back down. "ugh...I.." he stopped talking and held his head. But then he fell down unconscious.

"Jungkook!" taehyung shook the other, but there was no response.

They are back together.... But are they really safe?

I enjoy writing this fantasy story where i can just put in all my ideas that dont fit a normal life one. Its a shame not a lot of people like to read this. But i cherish you few that do enjoy this. Thank you for sticking with me to read their journey. ❤
