67: they are one

Taehyung had finished his food and felt a lot better now he had something in his stomach. As if his body really was asking for some food to repair itself. Who knows.

Jungkook had cleaned the kitchen and sat down next to his love. Sideways on the chair so he could look at him better. He rested his head on one arm that leaned on the table. With the other he grabbed Taehyung's hand.

Taehyung looked a little confused at the sudden look and hold of Jungkook. "uhm...What's wrong?" he asked.

"nothing. I'm just..... Glad you're okay"

"oh... I am happy too. I am sorry i couldn't do more"

"You did enough Tae, you saved me out of that cave. You stood up to him, you fought him even though you knew you would lose. You did more than anyone else would have done." Jungkook smiled. "and i was so afraid to lose you too, i was so relieved when you were still alive."

Taehyung felt his heart warm up. He felt so loved by the wizard. He really loves this man, hearing what he said about him made him feel even prouder. He wants to get stronger, he wants to fight too. So if danger comes to them, he can protect Jungkook just like before.

With the same smile he looked back at Jungkook and something caught his attention. He frowned a little. "your eyes...." he said.

Jungkook's eyes were both Purple.

"ah... Yes. I have normal eyes now" Jungkook replied. "I have all of me back into one, so my other eye is now purple. Meaning i am in your language, complete"

"wait so.... The other Jungkook is inside of you? Like you are now one person?"

"Yes, we are never meant to be two different persons. So one killing the other or one dying first would transfer its soul and power to the other."

"i-is he still there? What if he takes over you!"

"he is dead, love. His soul is dead. It's just the missing half of me. He does not control me or talk to me in any ghostly way. It's just me, and me alone." Jungkook said and rubbed the back of taehyung's hand with his thumb. "i am fine... you are going to be fine" he smiled again. "we will be fine, love. We will fly over the whole world, I will show you every region, every culture and I will love you till the end..."

Taehyung looked at the other and felt himself becoming a little emotional. his weak state probably had something to do with making him cry so easily, but that didn't mean those words didn't hit him in the heart. He smiled and grabbed Jungkook's collar pulling him in a kiss.

The wizard was surprised by the sudden action but as soon hea realised what was going on he closed his eyes and put his hand on the side of the human's neck. He couldn't wait to hold him like this again. He just cant get taehyung out of his head, he was just so happy that he can call him his now.

Even if his life didn't go as smooth as the Common town folk he was for sure gonna have a great ending.

They parted and Taehyung rested his head on Jungkook's shoulder. "Funny how my parents first introduced me to girls when I was old enough.  And now that i can finally be myself i end up with a lovely man"

"Your parents wanted you to marry a woman?"

"originally yes, it was the standard. But after my protests about how i didn't feel romance for any of the girls they expanded their vision and accepted my preference in men. So they are not unfamiliar with it.... But they would have preferred a lady at my side.'' Taehyung shrugged at his story. It wasn't anything bad. And his parents definitely didn't abandon him over it or anything. They just don't talk about it a lot and try to accept it and like it. Because they of course do love their son and they want him happy in the already hard path of leadership. But even when they tried, Taehyung still left the house to go his own way. Growing up into the throne was not his life.

He wanted to see the world. And who better to do it with than Jungkook.

"i love you Koo"

"I love you too," Jungkook smiled. "uhm... Speaking of your parents, will you go back to visit them at some point?"

"I want to, but for now I want to be able to enjoy my time with you. We finally can be together, I just want to be with you alone...."

"ah.... I'm glad because i think about it like that too..." Jungkook didn't want to pressure or limit the other but he would be a little bothered if Taehyung wanted to go visit his parents soon already. Because after all this he really needs to be with him and let himself come back to reality. These past months were hard, and it had come to an end.

"You are all I need, you are my new home Kook. I would choose you in any world, "Taehyung smiled. "I think that speaks for both me..."

Jungkook never thought to hear that from him. But hearing those words was like it healed an open wound left inside of him. He had lost one love, but he gained another in the end. Even if he didn't try to, it still happened..Maybe fate had always been watching him... The world granted him this new life, so he better make the best of it.
"once you feel better we are so going on a party date in the city"

"a party date? Like a ball?"

"not a stiff ball. A free party, do whatever you like! It's gonna be awesome." Jungkook stood up with new energy and gave the other a quick kiss. "fuck i love you so much."

Taehyung giggled and in the last moment he had completely forgot about his own pain and nausia.

Thank you for reading. Its gonna end a bit sooner than planned, i just cant come up with anything else to stretch this out. Its either gonna be a very long chap 68 or two short ones.

Either way, thank you for reading this one. Sorry for the late update again. I just havent been fully energized lately, i don't know whats going on. But i do my nest to get them done as quickly as i can.
