27: descend to Justice

Taehyung had packed his stuff, just like Jungkook. Now he sat in the fence outside the cabin, staring at the ground that came closer and closer. Bit far, but very slow. Zuzu was carefully gliding down through the wind.

It was very peaceful here in the air. So far, he was having an amazing time. He could get used to a life like this. Traveling from place to place. He was seeing places that you wouldn't even dream of. And now he was also going to get to see some action!

Taehyung had never done fighting or something exciting like that himself. He had only seen the knights practice, and tried to do it too in his bedroom. But if his father caught him he would tell him to stop with the nonsense.

He would love to be as skilled in things as Jungkook, but for that he still has a lot to learn. He only just began on his adventure.

"Are you still out here?" Jungkook asked while approaching the boy who sat on the wooden fence. "You sure like the view from up here"

"you don't?"

"i've been doing this for years. The view doesn't excite me as much anymore....It's a shame though, I'd love to experience what you feel, once more."

"How was it for you, when you decided to go your own way?"

"Well, I didn't willingly start this life...." jungkook leaned his arms on the fence, his head next to taehyung's waist who sat on top. Even if they didn't have eye contact, he could feel the other had his full attention on him, and he preferred it this way. He doesn't like talking about his past, so not having this direct eye contact made it easier for him, from personality he wasn't so different from everyone else. "When... when i left the village i kept being refused by any other village or city. Until seokjin found me and helped me get back on my feet, he treated my illness and made sure I grew healthy. But he knew that I could not stay there either, so he prepared me to live on my own. He funded all my supplies and helped me to gain Zuzu her trust. He taught me most of what I knew back then. I became a very good boy, better than I was before. So after I was ready he persuaded me to go out into the world and live in the wild like a world traveler. it would be a life with a better future for me. So I did... at first it was exciting but i felt very lonely and sad, knowing i will never have a home anywhere.'' Jungkook sighed. "but, after years and years people no longer saw me as an outcast and began to let me walk their streets like others. I finally managed to become 'normal'. and Life was great until, he, was murdered.... and now I am back to square one."

"i'm sorry.... so far your life doesn't seem to be any great.... I thought you would be a cool and liked person who could do these magical things and become a great wizard, but... it's nothing like that.... i'm sorry" taehyung got off the fence and stood next to the raven placing a warm hand on his shoulder. A hand that was enough to make the raven feel warm and fuzzy inside, he wished the hand wouldn't leave his shoulder.

"It's alright, dont worry about it. You never knew my existence, this is just in the past. really i am fine now" jungkook put his hand over taehyung's and gave the other a smile. "And what you said is also true, i am a great wizard now. greater than those people fear. so i guess i did reach something in life" he chuckled.

"Your way of changing emotions is fascinating. but okay, if you say so. And if there is anything you want to talk about, I am here to listen. I am here to help you, but i also want to understand you and who you are"

"I know, the most important things you already know now. When it's needed I will tell you more" the raven stood back straight and buttoned his beautiful green coat. "We should grab our bags, we will land any second now, Zuzu isn't allowed inside these walls so we will leave here out here in the wild until we leave."
