47: illegal visitor

Hoseok stood on his ship as they prepared to set off again. They had reached the village nearby the castle this morning and were going to pay a visit to the palace again. Just to check how Taehyung was doing....Knowing the situation of Jungkook not showing up.

"Everything is set and ready to go, captain!" his crew shouted and he gave a nod. "Alright everyone, let's get into the city before dinner!"
Hoseok was about to give the order to lower the first sails when a distant voice was shouting his name. Fainlynhe could make out the word and turned his head.

"h.....Ok!......Hos....Ok!....Hoseok! Wait!" he heard it clearly in the end and his eyes widened when he saw Taehyung run over the dock towards his ship.

"get a plank out, quickly!" he ordered his men.

They immediately got to work and lowered a plank for the Prince to run onto the ship who went straight to Hoseok.

"h-hoseok" taehyung panted. "take me to the end"

"the end, where the gateway is?" the captain frowned.

"yes"

"no, Jungko-"

"he is not here. He broke his promise, so I will go back myself. Take me to the gateway" Taehyung repeated himself. This time more strict. A manner he learned when practicing his commands to the knights. It was quite fitting, he wore his Prince rank knight outfit. A fabric and leather costume, not made for front combat but to show rank and power.

"you've gotten more fierce. Exciting. Get comfortable." Hoseok chuckled and spoke up to his crew. "Change of plans, we sail for 'The End'!"

"thank you" Taehyung said and sat down on the stairs waiting for the ship to sail away from his kingdom. A time that will probably be the last in a long time. He doesn't know how long he will be back there. But he will not look back until he got his answers.

It took a while to reach the 'end'. Sadly Hoseok could not get in front but you could see the location of the gateway from their spot. Hoseok sighed once the ship came to a stop and the ropes were tied. This will be the last time he brings the Prince from a to b for hopefully a long time. He wishes the two the best and hopes things will work out. He knows how lonely Jungkook is. It would do both of them good to be together.

"Mr. Prince, this is the furthest I can bring you. Same spot as last time. Do you need me to walk with you?" Hoseok asked while he walked down the wooden stairs towards the armed Prince who leaned on the edge of the ship, staring at the spot that would bring him to the other world.

"This is good, and no need to walk me, thank you." Taehyung smiled at the captain.

"Can I ask you something?" Hoseok asked and stood next to Taehyung leaning his elbows on the edge the same way the younger did.

"of course"

"when you get there. What will you do? Do you have a plan?"

"not yet, i will probably go the same way as i did with Jungkook and try to get to Ouvasta. I left him with Jimin, so it will be the best place to start. Maybe he is still there" Taehyung said with a little shrug.

"how will you navigate or even get over these islands? I know this gate will bring you to the Azure isles''

"i will see there. I have some things in mind. I think i'm gonna be fine there"

"Alright, battle prince, before you leave I have one last thing for you," Hoseok said. Earlier he had already given Taehyung some extra water and money that is used in the other world. It was a good amount to get through for a while.

"these nicknames are stupid but go ahead" the other chuckled.

"You can have my compass, its a bit scratched but it works perfectly. Ouvasta lies north-east from the gate of Azure isles. Just to get you in the right direction."

"Can I really take this? Don't you need it?"

"i got more in my hut. I can take another one. Besides, I know most of the waters by hand, i've been there for years. This is like home" Hoseok smiled and handed the compass to Taehyung. "safe travels Taehyung, and you know that you can always come back. I will come to pick you up. My ship is always open for you."

"Thank you, Captain" Taehyung smiled and slightly bowed at the other before stepping on the edge of the ship. "See you around Hoseok!" and he hopped down on the broken wooden planks. This used to be a spot to leave your boat but it was completely forgotten and abandoned.

"byee!" Hoseok and some of his crew waved at him before they pulled their ropes back and set their sails. Slowly the ship sailed off while Taehyung started walking to the spot.

"right. Somewhere here" He spoke to himself and took the amulet from his pouch, this would allow him to get through according to Jungkook.

Once he held the amulet in his hand and turned around a few times he could hear the gate. Its glass-like shimmering sound came from in front of him. Cautiously he walked forward and the gate opened. Shimmering christall walls engulfed him as he stepped through.

And just like the first time he was spat out and almost face planted the grass when he stumbled out dizzy.

"shit, this makes me feel like i need to puke." Taehyung said not thinking about how he cursed so naturally this time.
Once his head stopped spinning he looked around.

He was back.

The world of the wizard he fell in love with. Right at the spot where their whole journey started. The Azure isles, beautiful waterfalls falling down into the nothingness below. Blue fireflies floating above the grass giving everything this enchanting blue glow.

But even if he could look around in amazement a second time he didn't have time for that right now. He had to get to ouvasta and find Jungkook.

But...The thought of traveling alone scared him a little. What if he gets attacked. Yes he confidently brought his sword, but he is no swordsman. He just knows the basics and will probably have to have it from his adrenalin in the moment. He doesn't want to die out there without Jungkook's protection.

"chin up Taehyung, you can do this. You've already been on this path." He took a deep breath and walked to the edge of this small floating island revealing the whole colony of floating lands. "I am strong and i will find Jungkook no matter what"

Prince Tae is becoming a real battle prince. Excitinggggg. Cant wait to drop the things ive been wanting to write ever since i came up with the concept for this story waaah. Soon soon!
