63: mindgames

The next morning was one of the most special ones Jungkook had ever had. The feeling when he opened his eyes after last night and seeing the other laying next to him, it was amazing. Realizing that it wasn't just a dream made him smile and quickly scoot closer to the other that had moved to his own side of the bed throughout the night. He happily laid against him in the spoon position.

"goodmorning my love~" he said and rubbed his nose against the back of Taehyung's neck.

This woke the other up who took a deep breath and smiled when he felt the cute actions of the other.

"morning...Koo" he whispered, his voice not really awake yet.

"how are you feeling?"

"Aside from that my lower part feels done because I am feeling great."

"im happy to hear that. Shall we go take a shower now, we also need to clean the sheets and all that.....We're being very dirty right now" Jungkook chuckled.

"Let us be dirty for one night. We made love. But you're right, we should really clean it all up now." he sighed and turned to his other side so he faced Jungkook.

"I will go to the market today to restock, you should stay here and watch zuzu for me. Is that alright with you?"

"Sure, go do your thing. I will just relax and give my ass some rest" he smiled a little when he said it. "How is your wound by the way? You seem to be doing well now"

"its healing quickly. I should be ready to remove the bandages now. It doesn't hurt that much at all, only if I press onto it, but that's alright. At least it's not open anymore " Jungkook replied and glanced under the blankets at his, a little loosened, bandages. The knot got partially undone last night.

"That's good then" Taehyung placed his hand on Jungkook's cheek. "i love you"

"i love you too"

Jungkook was about to leave the house, one last quick check in before leaving the door.

"Are you sure you don't need anything?" he asked Taehyung while holding the shopping list. "No snacks, drinks...Anything?"

"no, i'm good. Thanks"

"Okay then" Jungkook shrugged and turned around leaving the house. He hopped off Zuzu who was landed back on the field nearby Ouvasta city.

And now the human was alone....This time really on his own, it was a little strange being here without Jungkook. But this might be something that will occur more often now they can be together. He might as well go get to know Zuzu better.

So grabbing one of Jungkook's cardigans he went outside and walked to the edge that was closest to Zuzu's head. She was standing still, eating a little of the grass in front of her feet.

"Hello Zuzu, how are you doing today?"

The turtle didn't say anything. It just slowly lifted her head and turned it to the side, one eye looking at Taehyung now.

"Are you well?" the human asked. Slowly the turtle hummed and..Nodded? Did she really understand? "I hope you don't mind me here. I will make sure you are healthy too, i want to be your friend too"

Zuzu hummed a higher tone this time.

"you're cute. It's strange, you don't say words yet it's quite nice to just... Talk to you. Is this what Jungkook feels? He talks to you a lot"

"maybe i should talk more too... I do miss my family, but I feel really at home here when I'm with Jungkook. I don't want to leave this place. Yes i got a birth home out there. But that is not the life i want to live. I always dreamed of seeing the world, going on journeys like the knights do. I had no interest in taking over the throne and just sit there. I want to be active. If i were to be king i will ride out with the knights. But they refused to let me train like one of them. Ugh." taehyung rolled his eyes. "well, now i got so much more. I went on a big journey and there is more ahead. And I got to meet many different people, you, a big magic turtle. It's amazing! And of course Jungkook, i didn't think I would actually get with him like this. But I couldn't be happier about it. Hopefully things will really get better now and we get to be together Forever.
