53: making enemies

"oh oh oh.... Taehyung, dear. You caught on quicker than I expected you to. How unfortunate" Jungkook(?) said and grinned. He didn't look too annoyed anymore. He looked....Amused.

And that look was scary...

"Where is the real Jungkook?" Taehyung asked. Standing his ground, he was not going to give in to his starting fear yet.

"I am the real Jungkook," Jungkook(?) said and chuckled. "very, very real"

"you didn't answer my question"

Jungkook(?) hummed and thought for a few seconds before replying. "What makes you think I have anything to do with that?"

"What other explanation would there be?"

"You tell me. Mr, detective" the wizard said a bit mockingly. He took a step back. "this isn't your world human. Leave now you still can."

"I wont leave without Jungkook, you know where he is! I don't believe you."

"This is me being nice. I will not stay this nice to you. Hurty out of my sight now before I crush you between the ground." the wizard hissed back with a frown.

Taehyung gulped and took two small steps back as well. The whole mood had changed as soon as Jungkook(?) got angry.

The sky turned darker and the air grew heavy. "Leave now, give up trying to find that joke of a wizard. Go home where you're safe or I will make sure you have the same fate as the Taehyung before you did." Jungkook(?) spoke and his purple eye glowed. Taehyung felt a heavy weight on his lungs and he couldn't breathe. He was because of that very relieved when Jungkook(?) disappeared and things turned normal. Leaving him coughing and gasping for his breath.

"fuck.... This is bad'' he muttered and sat down on the sidewalk. This Jungkook(?) was definitely different from his Jungkook. This one felt so violent. His sense of being reasonable was so different. This might be harder than he thought it would. But he was very glad that this wasn't his jungkook and there is still hope. And that was enough to keep him going.

No matter how hard it is, he will see it done. And he was almost certain that Jungkook(?) had something to do with it. He might become a dangerous obstacle to get past....

Back at the pharmacy Jimin was helping his parents to fill some bottles. It was quite a boring task. But at least he can listen to the conversations his parents had with the customers.

"You're doing great as always dear. You can take us over soon" his mother said with a chuckle while she passed by him and gave him a pat on the shoulder.

"thanks. Im still far from who i need to be." Jimin smiled. He knew hisnparents want him to take over the pharmacy. And he would gladly do that. But the studies are hard. He is no where on skill that he needs to get.

He was lost in his job when in the corner of his eye he saw a familiar figure enter the shop. He glanced at his friend and had to double take. The look on his face was asking to ask about it.

Immediately he closed the cap of the bottle and stood up. "Taehyung, what is going on?" he asked while taking him to the back where they could talk.

"i uhm.... I was right...But...I think i have made an enemy" Taehyung said grabbing Jimin's arms. Only now the seriousness of reality sank in. "oh my god. I'm just a normal person. How the hell am i supposed to deal with him?!"

"stop stop, what are you talking about?!" Jimin grabbed taehyung as well and shook him a little. He needed the details.

"You know the jungkook that has been around this city. That is actually not the jungkook i, we know. I don't know who or what he is, but he is not THE jungkook!" taehyung started ice bearing left and right, getting on Jimin's nerves after already two turned. "and well he said that he was going to kill me if i don't leave this behind me and go home. But i can't Jimin?! But....He will kill me!"

"what... My god. I don't know what to say about that. So...There is a second Jungkook?"

"yes, no...Well yes basically"

"that's even worse....."

"I don't know what to do Jimin. I want to find Jungkook, I know this new Jungkook has something to do with it but.... I'm scared of him, he can just burn me alive with a raise of his hand."

"You don't kno-"

"a clone of Jungkook, i can safely assume he got powers like that too. And his purple eye glows. He did something to the air today, I felt it. He is powerful...."

"Then uh....You need to avoid him."

"not until i know where Jungkook is. He needs to give me some clues"

"this is bad bad" Jimin scratched his head. "i..I don't know either."

"let's...Think of it overnight, i can give up. I think i might just have to face him."

"NO, That'll get you killed!"

There was a knock on the door and Jimin's mom looked around the corner. "go talk inside the house you two. We can almost hear you in the shop"

"sorry. We'll go" Jimin said and walked first. "let's think of it before making any decisions.

And that's what they did. They went inside the house and did some cooking together as a distraction. Taehyung tried not to think too much about it right now. He knew that if he did he will lose the confidence he had build up.

"....."

"....."

It was silent.

Cold.

Alone.

Painful....

"You still want to die, i know you do. But i wont let you."

He returned.

Again.

More pain.

"you've tried so hard to get rid of me. Look at you now...... Kneeling for me"
