We we're sitting at the back of the pick-up truck, the cold morning breeze slapping harshly on our faces with the speed of the truck against the direction of the wind, rustling our hair making it disheveled. I don't know how I look, but I know the air doesn't worry Gabriel a bit, with the air messing up with his hair, making him look like someone who just woke up, woke up beautifully. I can't seem to stop staring at the beau
beauty beside me, until he felt my gaze.

"It's so cold, gusto mo ba ng hug?" I sheepishly asked him. "Sira" pagtawa nito. "Nilalamig ako Gabriel, bilang amo mo naman ako, pwede bang pa request ng hug?" pangungulit ko pa dito. "Hala sya, ang trabaho ko po ay ang mga kabayo, kabayo ka ba?" humarap siya sa akin saka tumawa. "May kabayo bang ganito ka guwapo?" tanong ko naman dito sabay taas baba ng kilay ko saka malawak ang mga ngiti. "Ikaw" sabi nito saka malakas na tumatawa habang nakatingin sa mga punong dinadaanan namin.

"Talaga lang ha" sabi ko saka ako lumapit sa kaniya at sinusundit ang gilid niya para kilitiin. "Sir hahaha stop na po haha" hindi niya naman mapigilang mapabungisngis sa ginawa ko. Tinigilan ko na ang pagkiliti sa kaniya na hindi rin mapigil ang puso ko sa pagtibok. Bumalik si Gabriel sa malayong tingin niya na tila malalim ang iniisip.

Kung alam mo lang sana ang nasa isip ko ngayon Gabriel, tiyak aakalain mong para kang nanalamin dahil puros mukha mo lang ang laman ng isip ko. Tinignan ko si Gabriel at hindi ko mapigilan na sariwain ang alaalang meron ako sa kaniya noong una ko siyang makita.

I was his proctor for the licensure examination for agriculturists. There I noticed him, a guy who seems so distant to the world. No emotions at all, just poker face. Then and there he got me to keep on staring at him once our eyes met. I can't seem to look away from his eyes displaying bravery and strength of a warrior, but deep down, it reflect innocence from the eyes of an angel. That's the first thing that came to my mind when I saw his eyes, a warrior angel. The unbalanced amount of bravery and innocence, with the bravery being superior but the innocence being still noticeable.

He's undeniably good looking. Fair and smooth skin, soft looking hair, smells good, and his eyes, his eyes that seems to make you addicted staring at it that you wouldn't notice its making you as cold and hard as a rock just like the effect of Medusa's curse.When he answered his test, I just stared at him, all the time, there's this one time he caught me staring at him, I looked away right away, but when I looked at him again, he seems laughing. I thought that he might find me a creep so I stopped staring at him.

It's the second to the last day of the exam when I get to finally talk to him. He was sitting on a bench, I was about to go somewhere when he caught my attention. I come to sit with him and offered him a drink to ease the tension written on his face. He said that he was bothered, "Hays naisip ko lang po sir na paano po kung hindi ako makapasa" the exact word he said. I just answered him with the famous quote "Everything happens for a reason." "Kung hindi ka man makapasa ibig-sabihin lang non hindi yan ang nakalaan para sayo at may iba pa na para sayo talaga" I said to him and he just smiled at me while reflecting what I said.

It's the last day of their exam and the last day of seeing him, I felt sad but also, I had this feeling inside of me that that wouldn't be the last time we would see each other. I told that to him and he just laughed at me saying "Baka nga sir." After that I bid my farewell to him.

I was about to go at the office to do something when I can't get Gabriel out of my mind. I just need to know where he lives, "it wouldn't make me look like a stalker naman diba, at least I know where to look for him and I know he would come home safe" I reasoned out for my self. And so, I followed him.
