Confession and Sunset

We we're now in the gaming center and currently playing basketball. We've had so much fun shooting balls. Nagpataasan kami ng score, but of course I scored more than half of his score. We also did some claw machine which we caught a brown bear stuffed toy. Moreover, we played shooting games, driving games ,and video games. We're having the best time of our life. We laughed and had so much fun.

We are currently shooting balls on the basketball games when we heard a child crying. "Naririnig mo yun?" Gabriel faced me and stopped at what he's doing. The cry is getting louder at our position then we searched for it. There we saw a baby boy. He looks like a 4 year old kid. He's sobbing and we can see his tears mixing with his mucus. I then see Gabriel's pity eyes when he transfer his look from the child to me. He instantly went for the child and dropped to his knees so that he levels with the kid. I followed suit and heard him consoling the poor kid.

"Shush baby, are you okay? What happened to you?" Gabriel said as he rub the boy's small back. Then magically, the baby started to calm down and stared at Gabriel while rubbing his nose. He fish his handkerchief from his pocket and wiped the boy's tears and mucus. "What happened?" I asked him. "I am lost" the boy said while he snuffle. "Kawawa naman to. Asaan kaya ang nanay nito?" Gabriel said while looking out for a possible relative of the boy. "Who are you with?" I asked him again. "M-my m-mommy" he answered and about to cry by remembering his mom. "Shush, baby, don't cry now okay, we'll help you find your mommy okay" the boy nods while looking at Gabriel then the boy hugged him, finding comfort from the feeling of despair revolving the poor boy. "I have here a teddy bear, I'm gonna give this to you if you promise you won't cry anymore" Gabriel said then gives the boy the stuffed bear toy which the kid excitedly and happily accepts. He wiped the tear om his cute little eyes then smiled.

Gabriel stand up then held the boy's hand trying to look around in case we meet a scurrying mom around the place. "Why don't we just go to the guards, and surrender the kid?" I suggested trying to ease Gabriel's creasing eyebrows. "No!" he looked at me almost immediately with a refusal evidently written in his face. "We are going to hand the boy to his mom, and his mom only. Paano natin malalaman kung talagang maihahatid ba talaga siya sa mama niya" Gabriel said then he looked at the kid with a pity eyes. Gabriel had this face of a worried mom or sibling. Someone who looks so responsible. Someone who I am not. The boy just smiles at us and then we instantly melts. I found my eyebrow creasing when the boy looks like someone when he smiles, but I got my head aching when I'm searching in the depth of my brain for the boy's look alike. I just dismissed the thoughts and helped Gabriel roamed the gaming center.

He just held hands dearly with the kid while we were finding every corner of the arcade just to find the baby's mom. Nalibot na namin ang buong lugar ngunit wala pa rin talaga kaming nakikita. "Sir Javier, pwede po bang pa-favor" Gabriel turned to me. "Yah what is it?" I asked him. "Pwede po bang pumunta kayo sa costumer service para magpa-page sa nanay ng bata habang ako naman po ay sasamahan tong bata para maglibot at baka kasi makita namin" Gabriel pleased. I nod at him and hugged him goodbye before I scurried my way to the costumer service that we passed by earlier.

Gabriel

Nagkahiwalay kami ng direksyon ni Sir Javier, siya papuntang kaliwa at ako naman pakanan. Sigurado namang malapit lang dito yung nanay nito. Sa liit ba naman ng bata ay maliit lang din ang hakbang nito. Baka naglalakad sila malapit sa arcade at 'di lang napansin nung nanay na nahiwalay na pala ang bata dahil na-attract sa mga games. Itinaga ko naman sa isip ko na hindi ko ibibigay ang bata sa kahit na sino man unless mapatunayan kong nanay niya ito. Tinignan ko ang bata na nakahawak lang sa aking kamay at focus ang kaniyang mata sa kaniyang dinadaanan at hawak nito ang ibinigay kong bear. Ang cute-cute nitong tignan. Hula ko nasa mga 3-4 taong gulang ito. Nang mapansin sigurong nakatingin ako ay napatingin rin ito sa akin. Ngumiti naman ito saka lumabas ang kaniyang dimple at bunny teeth. "Napaka-cute naman ng batang ito" sabi ko naman sa sarili ko. "What will you name the teddy bear?" Tanong lo sa kaniya. "Uhmm, he's name would be, amm, ah! Melon!" Excited na turan nito. Napakacute talaga. "Why melon? Tanong ko pa. "Be-because I like cocomelon" tingin nito sa akin. Ahh yung nasa online na sikat sa mga bata.
