When Maruko explained it to Geto, he couldn't understand why she didn't tell him any of that. He was so livid he couldn't think clear. He had a thousand thoughts running in his head - if she was going to wake up, how she'd react when she finds out about the baby, how upset she'd be, how scared she'd be and all because of a —
"Fucking. Monkey." his growl scared Maruko, he was thinking of ways to castrate him. There was no way he was going to let this guy get away with it. He was going to find him and drag him back from hell if he had to.
Geto stepped out for a minute. He would've punched everything and everyone in his way if he stayed in there for even a second longer. "Geto san, will she wake up soon?" Manami asked.
"I'm hoping she will", he took deep breaths trying to calm down, "once I get my hands on Orimoto Rika, I'll be closer than ever to my goal."
"After all these years?"
"After all these years." He looked like a dead man, "I'll do everything I can. Even if it kills me. She deserves better than this."
"Why are you doing this?"
"She saved me when no one did. I didn't even think it was possible." He looked at the water lilies in the garden pond, "she's the nicest person I've ever come across but these monkeys make it so difficult for her. Every single time. And for what?"
"I'm sorry for your loss", Manami sighed.
"I wish she told me about this," his fist clenched in anger, "I would've been there! I would've never let this happen!"
A minute of silence ensued as Geto composed himself.
"Manami..." he stood tall "find him."
"Do you want me to bring him to the monastery?"
"No." He said "I'll drag him there by his balls."
"Why would you touch a monkey?"
"Because I want her to have the satisfaction of ripping him apart. Limb by limb. And if it means that I'll have to touch a filthy monkey, I will." He said with a hint of disgust on his face. "The kids are so upset. Mimiko and Nanako are barely eating. They've been asking for her all day." He looked at Manami, "what will I even do if she never wakes up? What's the point of all this if I can't enjoy it with her?"

When Yuriko's eyes opened, Geto Suguru was already there, "Suguru san..." she mumbled before realising what had happened, "SUGURU SAN!"
"Stop hurting yourself" he held her from getting up.
"I'm... oh, no!" She frantically looked around, realising she was at the hospital, "no no no..."
Geto held her hand and watched her face grow pale as it sank in. Her hand immediately clutched her abdomen as she looked at Geto, she remembered that she'd never told him about it and didn't know where to begin.
"The doctor... I'd like to talk to the doctor, please," it hurt him that she sounded a little hopeful.
"Why didn't you tell me anything?" Was the first thing he asked.
"I was going to tell you next week." She said but his face carried had a small frown, "what's wrong?"
"The doctor said you lost the baby."
The room filled with unbearable silence. Her chest heaved as she processed what he said. Her breaths grew quicker, her eyes glossed and her lips pursed. What could she even tell him?
"I'm sorry," she bit her lip and he slipped into her bed, his arm snaked around her as he held her against his chest, "it's not your fault, my love. None of it is."
"I'm sorry I couldn't do anything."
"I should've been there", his eyes were forcing themselves shut because how less he'd been sleeping, "I wish you told me. I would've done anything for you."
"You know I wouldn't. It's not right for me to-"
"I want you to tell me everything. It only bothers me if you don't."
"I will", she finally agreed and he sighed in relief.
"I thought I lost you", he pressed a long kiss on her forehead, "I'm sorry you had to go through that. I'll make sure you don't have to. I'm so close to creating a better place for you."
"What are you talking about?" She asked but saw how hard he was trying to stay awake for her. She placed her hand on his face, her warmth finally putting him at ease. He was desperate for some sleep, but he promised he wouldn't until she woke up. After all, he had a lot of work to do after Manami was done finding the monkey he was looking for.
Haruno Osuke was his name.
—————
Satoru was upset for not finding her at the bar as usual. He hadn't seen her for the past couple times he'd been there and it wasn't as fun without her. This time he hoped to see her. No, he was desperate to see her. He had to find her.
And ask her to stop Geto Suguru.
What happened to Yuriko was the last straw for him. He went to Jujutsu High and declared an all-out war. He was going to finally wipe out all non-jujutsu sorcerers and create his perfect world.
And Satoru was desperate to find her. He wanted to ask her to convince Suguru, find out what drove him to this. But she wasn't there. He showed up at the hotel she worked at and asked the receptionist for her, who showed him to Maruko.
Maruko was reluctant at first but eventually told Satoru what happened. To say Satoru was upset was an understatement. He had a million questions after that. When he found out that Osuke was not a cursed energy user, it began making sense. Now he had to find her at all costs.
Geto cleared his schedule when Manami told him that she'd found Osuke. He visited Yuriko first, "you look so much better! I have a teeny tiny errand to run and then I'll come take you home, okay sweetheart? I love you so much. Don't move from your bed until I'm back", He was rather chirpy. He couldn't wait to bring Osuke to her and let her carve his organs out.
Satoru stood in a corner outside the hospital, waiting for Geto to leave, before rushing inside to see her. He had no idea about who Osuke was or that she was pregnant. The worst part for him was that he couldn't do anything for her. He didn't want to show up when she was going through something so painful and ask for her help.
"Satoru san?"
When he saw her, his throat formed a lump. His legs felt heavier with every step he took towards her, "how are you feeling?"
"How did you find me?"
"You should've told me something! I'm sure you didn't tell Suguru either! Are you stupid?" He scolded. "You look terrible! What if you died?"
"I'm sorry"
"Stop apologising when it's not your fault," he scoffed.
"But you just told me it's my f-"
"I was so worried about you. Don't do that again." He slumped in his chair, dreading the next part the most, "I need to talk to you about something."
"Is everything okay?"
"It's not." He took a deep breath before he began, "Suguru wants to kill all the non-jujutsu sorcerers and create a perfect world."
"Huh?!"
"He was preaching his crazy idea to my students in Jujutsu High."
"But he hates that place, why was he there?"
"He wants the cursed spirit attached to a student of mine. The cursed spirit that has an endless cursed energy reserve. We can't afford to let that happen. If Suguru really does what he says he will... we will be forced to fight back."
"No..." she looked at him in astonishment and disbelief "he wouldn't do that. It's Suguru san. He's the nicest human-"
"I need you to stop Suguru. Or he might get himself killed."
