"Kento Senpai!", she was so relieved that he was alright, she was so scared her eyes welled. "Oh, you're alive."
"I am, thanks to you," he had the softest smile on his face and Satoru scoffed.
"I'll do better, I promise. I can do much better" She sniffled. He looked so pale because of how weak he was and she felt terrible.
"I know you can," he cooed as he tried to comfort her, "You did good, Yuriko. I would've died without you."
"Yeah, yeah... whatever" Satoru sat in between Yuriko and Nanami, fitting his ass in between whatever little space he saw was reducing between the two, pushing Yuriko farther away from Nanami, "don't be so hard on yourself, Yuri. If he dies, that's on him."
He turned to look at Nanami, "you want to be comforted? Come here, I'll comfort you." He angrily scooted towards Nanami and Nanami pushed him away, "please go away!"

"You seem to like Nanami," he walked up to her in the garden. She was taking a closer look at the flowers.
"He doesn't pretend." Was all she said and his feet froze.
"I'm not pretending to be nice to you." He said but she didn't reply. She didn't want to waste her words over this.
"What you heard was wrong. And I know I was out of line. But I give them what they want to hear." He knew that he had to tell her the truth. "And I can't let them know that I have a soft spot for you."
"But you shouldn't have a soft spot for me" she got back on her feet and turned to look at him. Her eyes finally making contact with his sunglasses-laden ones. "We knew each other... for five weeks, when we were children."
"But-"
"My father almost killed you and I was with your best friend who wanted to kill every person without cursed energy." She looked so dead, it bothered him, "you shouldn't have a soft spot for me. You don't even know me."
"I know you..." he stepped closer to her, "I know all about you." He towered over her, intimidating her. His glasses fell to the bridge of his nose, his eyes piercing her, "You're Zenin Yuriko. I know your father almost killed me, but thanks to him, I'm the best sorcerer alive. I also know that Suguru wanted to kill all the monkeys, but you... I don't know what it is about you that's so endearing. And every single time you've only run away from me..." his fingers grabbed her arm, pulling her against his chest, "you're crazy in the head and you're very strong. You can be as strong as I am, maybe even stronger and I think that's why I can't stop bothering you. But I just need you to keep trying." At this point, she didn't know he was talking to her or just saying his thoughts out loud.
"And no, I'm not trying to be nice to you just because you can kill me. Choosing your side, it's your decision to make." He said before his mind wandered to the next subject, and a dreadful one at that, "but what I don't like..." his voice kept dwindling into the lower register as his brows knotted in anger, "...is Nanami's hands all over you." Her back touched the tree and she didn't even realise how she got there, "Gojo san-"
"You're calling me that now, but you call him by his first name... and Senpai?" He was livid and she didn't even know what to say.
"What I hate even more, is your ridiculous skirt." He said, "I asked them to make it short but not this short."
"You did?"
"Of course I did." He let out a sharp breath, "I didn't realise Nanami would also be looking at your legs".
Her breath hitched when his cologne hit her. He smelled so good, like cedar wood, geranium and tobacco with heavy notes of musk and dark chocolate. "Do you like him?"
"What?" Half of what he said went from over her head.
"Do you like Nanami?", his free arm was resting on the tree, right above her head as he lowered his face towards her, "I asked you a question."
"H-He's a nice senior. He's teaches. And he's kind-"
"You're rambling," he chuckled. "You're so cute. Let me rephrase it for you."
"O-Okay." Her soft voice made his insides cave.
"Do you look at Nanami and think about him fucking you?"
She gasped at his bluntness, "NO." She couldn't believe he said that, "I don't... like him like that."
"That's good." He seemed to say it to himself, "That's very good."
She wanted to ask him why but he was already too intimidating.
"You don't want to go on missions with me?"
"Huh?"
"Go on missions with me, baby." He took his glasses off and she thought she died and went to hell. She felt her chest cavity being dug to naught, not realising how much restraint Satoru had to exercise to not teleport her to his room and have his way with her, "please? I'm very sorry I said that. I'd never mean it."
"Okay."
"You'll go on missions with me?"
"I... I will."
"Are you still mad at me?" He asked and she softly shook her head, "you're fucking precious, you know that? You deserve a better brother. That urchin head is a giant pain in the ass."
"H-He is?"
"He is, angel. He's very stubborn and he looks just like your dad." He said and she nodded in agreement. She wanted to get out of there, being glued to a tree with Gojo Satoru intimidating the life out of her was not good for her heart.
"So do you but..." he was talking to himself again, "your eyes are prettier."
"Okay, listen..." he knew he was the one rambling now. He was trying his best to divert all his attention from her trying to give him a boner, "I'm not very patient when it comes to things that belong to me..." she softly gasped when his thumb touched her cheek, his face was so close she was redder than the sunset. But the look in his eyes clearly conveyed that he really didn't have the patience to repeat it, "and if I see Nanami's hands on you again, I'll gladly peel it off..."
"Because like I said, I'm keeping you. And I fucking will for as long as I like."
