Careful creature made friends with time
He left her lonely with a diamond mind
And those ocean eyes.
No fair
You really know how to make me cry
When you gimme those ocean eyes
I'm scared
I've never fallen from quite this high
Fallin' into your ocean eyes
Those ocean eyes.

She couldn't tell Shoko. She couldn't tell Megumi either. She'd promised that she'd tell them but she just couldn't. She tried but she couldn't utter a word about it. All she remembered were his flaring ocean eyes. That looked at another girl. Like he'd look at her. She looked at the pictures Nanami sent. Her heart falling into the trenches. All over again. It was her melting point and she'd reached her limit. She made every excuse she could. Even asked Nanami if it was for a mission. But it was his day off. And what hurt her the most was the way he looked at the other girl. The way he looked at her. The way he held that girl when he kissed her. Like he held her. It was the same girl who interrupted them on their first date. The worst one she'd had. Yuriko dropped her phone in the bathtub with hot water that was meant for her sore body. She'd annulled his cursed energy not too long ago, in ways that now hurt her so much. She choked on her tears like she was drowning. Like she did in his eyes every time they lit up for her.

She'd missed her period again. And there he was. In a bar. On another girl. Kissing her. With those fucking eyes. His ocean eyes to her riptide.

She quietly switched her lights off and crawled under her sheets. "I wish I died instead of you," she remembered Geto. How unfair it was that he was taken away from her. Like every other person she loved.

Her eyes welled with tears but she couldn't feel a thing. She made every excuse for him but the answers weren't in her favor. Not even close. She cursed under her breath, hating herself for putting her mind, body and soul through this with a blind eye. Yet again. This wasn't an unfamiliar feeling. Of having her heart broken again. And she hated herself for doing it all over again. Falling into the same trap. Like she'd learnt nothing.

Like a fool.

She was convinced when he didn't show up that night, fueling her sorrow, her morbid aching. She pushed herself up on her legs, against the will of every fiber of her being. She had to leave. For good.

Leave and never return.

For once.

And for all.

She'd wanted to move out for a while now. She'd recently bought her own place after she saved enough and more from her ample earnings as a special grade jujutsu sorcerer. She did work overtime after all. Every single day, so she could provide for herself and the kids that were so dear to her. Her little babies. Yuriko looked at her bank details and only then realized how many zeroes she had raked up in her account.

She quietly packed her bags and took the kids before moving into her new place. The kids were so confused when she apologetically woke them up in the middle of the night and surprised them with a brand new house to call home. A home of their own. They wished it were under better circumstances and not like a midnight run. They were sleepy, confused, excited and scared, all at the same time.

They knew something was wrong but they were too scared to ask her. Too scared to know what she'd say. She didn't go to school the next day, she didn't tell anyone that she was leaving and she couldn't because she didn't have her phone. Not like she would either way.

They didn't know where she was. Principal Yaga was worried out of his mind, Megumi looked around everywhere for her, along with the other students. Nanami was so furious he didn't show up at Jujutsu High and Satoru... was still nowhere to be found.
