"I'm here to pick you up!" Satoru announced before she opened her door for him, "come inside, I just need to get my watch and try to find my phone."

"Yuri, you look so good," he looked at her cute little dress and his own attire - T-shirt and jeans, "I feel a little underdressed." He pouted.

"Where are we going? You didn't tell me anything." She blinked.

"I thought I'd take you to the arcade today. It's so much fun, I haven't been there in a while and I have no one to go with," he declared, making her giggle.

"Okay, stay right here. I'll go get changed in a minute."

"Why can't you just strip for me?" He complained as she went inside to get changed.

Satoru was pouty by the time she stepped out in a different attire. "What's wrong?" She asked before looking at her black ribbed tank top and denim shorts, "do I look weird?"

"You didn't strip for me," he said, but before he told her how pretty she looked, "what the fuck are you wearing? Your shorts are too short and your shirt's very, very, very distracting."

"I'm not changing again", she folded her arms and looked at him sigh in defeat, "fine, I can fight. Although, I'm not responsible if anyone gets hurt."

"Nobody's fighting and nobody's getting hurt," she said before locking her door, his eyes travelling to the curves of her ass, making him groan internally. "They're fucking short."

Satoru soon realised it was a Friday night, "fuck!" He said, "Fuck, Fuck, Fuuuuc-" Yuriko palmed his mouth shut when she saw a kid looking at him with wide eyes, "we're at the arcade! There's thousands of kids around."

"Your mommy traits are kicking in," He was clearly worried about something else, "And it's fucking crowded!"

"It's not that bad." She said and he groaned again. "Fine! Let's go play..." he looked at all of them before deciding, "HOUSE OF THE DEAD" he announced, "PART 2!"

"Babe?" Satoru poked her as they played the game he had picked.

"We're both gonna end up dying if you distract me."

"You've been distracting me ever since you stepped out in those clothes, have I been complaining?"

"Yes, you have." She said before resuming to kill a few more zombies. "What is it?"

"When we go back..." he was focused on killing the zombies on the screen in front of him, his concentration mirroring hers, "...will you sit on my face?"

That caught her off guard, which let Satoru beat her score, "I won?"

"You distracted me!"

"Boohoo," He poked his tongue out, "but that was a real question, I wasn't expecting you to react to it."

"Fine-"

"Toru?" A feminine voice interrupted them.

"Oh..." he awkwardly greeted the girl, "Aiko chan, nice to see you here."

"You're here on a date with this girl?" She pointed at Yuriko and he hesitantly nodded.

"Really?" She asked, "is that why you stood me up? Because you found someone else to screw."

Yuriko was awkward, "do you want me to give you two some space?"

"Yes, please."

"No need." He said but Yuriko knew better than to stay, she walked away from them, giving them the space they need.

"This is the worst date ever", she walked towards the shooting stalls and picked up an air gun. "I'll have the big pink dinosaur," she pouted as she rested the air gun against her shoulder to knock down the targets and the shopkeeper smirked knowing the targets were glued to the wooden plank it rested on. She imbued some of her cursed energy into the air gun before shooting at her target.

Not long after, Yuriko dragged the giant pink dinosaur with her all the way to the farthest game she could find, "oh, I miss playing this." She set the pink dinosaur next to her and started the game but her eyes teared as her hands reached the console. Memories of playing the same game with Suguru clouded her mind and her throat burned. She missed him so much. He wasn't like this to her, she never had to feel this way. He loved her so much and in a way which assured her that he really, really did. She hugged the pink dinosaur, just blankly staring at the screen.

"Didn't know you liked Minesweeper," Satoru was back.

"I don't like it anymore," she got up to leave.

"I'm sorry."

"You stood her up?"

"I did."

"You want to explain?" She tried to be very patient.

"I forgot and I don't have an excuse for this. We'd decided on this a few months ago, before I started seeing you and I didn't tell her anything after that." He said, "I really have no excuse for this. I'm terrible."

"The penthouse suite girl?"

"Yes."

"How long were you seeing her for?"

"A little over a year, maybe." He warily said, trying to remember. "But I haven't seen her after I met you."

"I'd like to go back, please."

"Yuriko-"

"I'll see you in school."

"Yuriko, please don't be upset."

"This isn't the person I expected you to be," she was slightly pissed at him, "I thought you were better than this"

"I'm really sorry you had to go through that, I-"

"The person you should be apologizing to is her," Yuriko looked at him dead in the eyes, "who do you think you are, treating people like crap?" Her anger was rising to her head. She couldn't believe it when he so casually told her he forgot about someone who he'd been seeing for over a year, and until very recently.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to."

"I'm not going out with you again." She deadpanned.

"Come on, you can't do that." A small chuckle escaped his lips, indicating disbelief. "I told you I'm sorry, I'll make the rest of this evening better, I-."

"Why? You're confident that you think it's obvious that I'll say yes? Are you Gojo Satoru because you're so cocky or are you cocky because you're Gojo Satoru?" She titled her head before exhaling in disappointment, "I don't care who you are. You know why?"

He quietly shook his head "no".

"Because when I touch you, you're a nobody. You're not the strongest sorcerer, you're not the honoured one. You're a monkey." She hardly matched his height but she wasn't afraid to put him in his place, "I don't want to go out with you and I don't want to see you again."

Satoru felt his heart shatter as she walked away from him, he deserved that and he knew it. When he decided to not plan a nice evening, he'd already known that he'd ruined it. He also knew that she was right, she could reduce him to a pile of nothingness. When she touched him, the title of the greatest sorcerer wasn't his. But when she touched him, his whole body felt alive.

She'd humbled Gojo Satoru and there was nothing he could do about it.
