Test

Principal Yaga was slightly relieved when he saw the smaller figure walk behind Satoru.

"Where are the kids?" He asked.

"They're in school", she was scared to make any eye contact but she tried.

"If you're going to teach here, we need to test you first."

Her eyes went slightly wide as she looked at Principal Yaga and back at Satoru.

"You heard him," Satoru had finally managed to convince them both and he couldn't wait to see how she fared.

"Walk with me", he led them into a dimly lit hall, "I'm going to test you. You will answer my questions first. One wrong answer and you're out. As for the second test, you will fight the first years."

"Understood." She replied.

"Why do you want to be here?" He stopped in the middle of the hall, quietly channeling his cursed energy into one of his dolls.

"I don't." She said, "I don't want to put anyone in danger, this wasn't even my idea."

She quickly sensed something attack her. She wasn't with Suguru just for the nicer parts of it. She trained with him since he was worried for her when he wasn't around. She trained with him so much he was fully confident that she could effortlessly take on a Special Grade Curse by herself.

She held the doll by it head before the attack reached her. "You make moving dolls?" Her energy had changed instantly. "I hope this one wasn't very close to you", Principal Yaga gasped when he saw his doll lose form. She instantly nullified its cursed energy.

"I see what you mean, Satoru," he grinned, "she really is very dangerous."

"As for being here, Satoru san told me I could be of some help. And I'm more than happy to, as long as I don't put anyone in danger. I don't want to hurt anyone."

Principal Yaga couldn't use his dolls anymore, he turned to Satoru, "you heard her. Take her to the first years, I want to see how she fights."

Satoru rolled his eyes under his blindfold before he led her to them. "There's three of them this time," he lied. "There's an advanced cursed doll principal Yaga created - Panda; there's a very strong cursed speech user - Inumaki Toge; and there's a Zenin."

"A Zenin?"

"She's isn't like your regular Zenin. She has no cursed energy. She's like your dad, just a little. But she's strong - Zenin Maki. My bets are that she'll put up a good fight because your techniques won't affect her."

"I look forward to it." She said, "I know I'm not very strong, but please stop me if, at any moment, you think they're in danger."

"Don't worry about that. I'll be right there", he smiled. "And I'm sure you're very strong. Your cursed energy levels haven't wavered once. Not even during Yaga Sensei's test."

"I don't think that way, but Suguru san told me I have a very strong kick." She softly said.

"Oh!?" He laughed "I'm very excited now. Let's see how you do in this test, Yuri chan."

"Our esteemed first years are here!" He dramatically welcomed them as they scoffed in annoyance.

"You actually had us wake up early on a Saturday for this", Maki groaned, "she better be good. A new teacher, you say? We don't want Suguru's people here." She hated Suguru the most.

"Salmon flakes"

"Are you sure she can fight? She looks a little on the... smaller side." Panda was concerned.
