When Jogo walked into Satoru's house, he knew it was awfully quiet for a household with a child.

"You're here." His head whipped towards Yuriko's voice, he couldn't even sense her. She sat on the couch with a frown on her face, her brows knotted in fury but she didn't say anything else.

"Where's the kid?"

"Somewhere you can't find."

"I wanted to pay a visit, you know..." he smirked, "I didn't want to be rude."

"Stay the hell away from this place." She sat there unwavering, that was until she felt another presence that she knew too well.

"Are you bothering her... Jogo?"

She recognised that voice, she knew he had a smile on his face as he said that, even before she turned her head to look at him. It sounded just as soft but it contained something treacherous in its depths.

It was like she forgot how to breathe. She prayed for it to not be him but when she turned to meet him in the eyes, hell froze over.

She gasped at the sight. It was Suguru. She couldn't find the words. She couldn't understand.

It felt like him. It looked like him. His voice, his hair, the texture of his skin, his rugged hands, his loving eyes... it just had to be him.

"Su... Suguru... san." She had frozen in her seat, her face as pale as paper.

"Yo~", he took the seat opposite hers, "Yuriko, it's been a while."

She clenched her eyes shut and shook all the thoughts out of her head.

"You don't look very happy to see me, my love~."

Her heart clenched with every word he said. She took a deep breath to compose herself, "who are you?"

She refused to believe what she saw and felt. She knew he would never do this to her.

"Ah, that hurts", he said, "did you forget me? What about everything we had? You moved on with my best friend and had a child? That hurts me very much."

"You're not Suguru." She was certain.

"But I remember every inch of your body and soul. The way you think about me, the way you crave for me... I know everything, darling." He smiled, "how can I not be him?"

"Because he'd never say the things that you just did." She got up from her seat, "who the fuck are you? What have you done to him?"

"Hmph..." he signed in disappointment. His plan had failed miserably, "fine! You're smarter than I thought you were." He rolled his eyes before pulling the stitches off of his forehead and she gasped in horror as he opened his head, "I'm surprised you could tell."

Yuriko lunged at him as soon as she realised that it wasn't really Suguru, "LET HIM GO!" He grabbed her arm with ease, "I'm surprised you'd act so hastily. You still love me, don't you?"

"Come with me," he said as she struggled out of his hold, "come with me and we'll make this world a better place."

"Leave him out of this, please!" She couldn't escape his grip. His hand was so warm, her heart ached.

"Leave everything behind and help me out." He said as he dragged her closer to him, "come with me, be with me. We can go back to how it was."

"No!" She scratched his arm.

"Fucking brat!" He let go of her only to grab her neck with his other arm. "I think I'm starting realise why Suguru loved you so much." His thumb traced her lip, but right before he could kiss her, his free hand twitched before punching him in the face and away from her.

It took her a minute to realise what was happening. When his hand punched him again, her stomach knotted, "no..." her fingers covered her lips, "god, what do I do?"

It was almost like Kenjaku was losing function over Suguru's body. When his hands reached for Jogo next, she was almost certain. She quickly rushed back towards him and slammed her palm against his forehead, dismantling all his cursed energy and Kenjaku's control over his body.

His body collapsed on the floor instantly. His warm, trembling hands holding onto her like she'd leave him again. She held his hand against her face as his eyes opened to catch a glimpse of her. He couldn't hear what she was saying. He couldn't process anything either. His brain, or rather Kenjaku's, had shut down.

He couldn't think anything but he knew who she was. He'd never forget her even if his body refused to function. She was the love of his life, the only person he'd remember even if he lost all his memories, and everything in between. She'd imprinted on him so deep, he couldn't forget her for a few hundred lifetimes, "I'm... sorry." He mumbled as she cried against his hand.

He saw Jogo and Hanami behind her but he couldn't move. He wanted to warn her, tell her to get away from him, but he couldn't. "Ah..." he tried to speak, move his hands, tell her to run somehow. "Yu..."

"I'm sorry I let you go, I shouldn't have listened to you!" Was the last thing he heard her say,

"Run." He knew he was too late.

Satoru came home straight after his mission, and pressed the keys on the door, "I'm home~ I missed you both so m-" he dropped the bag of souvenirs he'd gotten for them. His house looked like a wreck. His piano was smashed, his couch was in pieces and his kitchen didn't even look like his kitchen.

"YURIKO?!" He ran to their room, "SAYURI!!"

He felt the bile rush to his throat. His breaths were faster, heavier... his lungs constricted and heart was erratic. "What-" he ran back downstairs, "YURIKO! ANSWER ME, LOVE!" He frantically looked everywhere.

He came to a sudden halt when he saw blood splattered in his living room. "NO!" He was having a panic attack. He took deep breaths as he collapsed on his knees. "No! No! NO!" He said in between his erratic breathing, "this can't happen. No." He took his phone out and called Nanami as fast as he could.

"Nanami!" He sounded so scared even Nanami was worried, "Nanami, please tell me they're with you!"

"Sayuri is with me. What's wrong? Yuriko asked me to take her to Jujutsu High. Is she-"

"FUCK!" He threw his phone against the wall.

It was already dark outside. It was Halloween night.

He fell quiet when his landline started ringing.

He pushed his weight off of his feet and stumbled to pick it up. He couldn't think, he couldn't begin to comprehend what he'd stumbled into.

"Hello?"

"Gojo Satoru, you're finally home!" He knew that voice was familiar.

"Who is this?"

"Hope you liked your welcome."

"WHO THE FUCK IS THIS?"

"Satoru, don't listen to them!" He heard Yuriko in the background.

"YURIKO! PLEASE TELL ME YOU'RE-"

"Come to Shibuya." Jogo said on the other side, "she's already wounded. She'll bleed out if you don't."

"Okay, I'm coming. I'll be right there!"

"If you're late, we'll bring your daughter next."

"Shut your fucking trap, I'll fucking kill you if anything happens to her."

He clamped his mouth shut when he heard Yuriko scream in pain, "you aren't in a position to threaten, Gojo."

"I'm sorry! I'm coming. Please don't hurt her."
