Yuriko didn't look as weak or malnourished now, thanks to a more stable job as a Jujutsu Sorcerer. She also made it a point to see her kids very often. She was adamant on going through their homework and keep up with their lives every single day. Every single day that she was in Tokyo.

Satoru watched her push her food around in the plate, her eyes curiously going through the lines in the new book she was holding, "you need to eat," he said as he slouched in front of his empty plate, "you can read it later."

"Noo, but I'm in the fourth terrace of Puragtory," she didn't want him to take her book away.

"I don't understand why you're reading Dante," he rested his elbows on the table. "Which terrace do you think I'll go to?"

"Pride. You'll be weighed down by stones", she put her book down.

"Eh, I can handle that", he chuckled as she finally finished her food.

"You have a mission tomorrow?" She asked him and he shook his head, "I have a meeting with the higher-ups." A small scoff escaped his lips, he hated meeting them.

"Oh." Her voice barely managed to slide past her lips and Satoru's attention shifted back to her face when he sensed that something was off about her. She looked tired all of a sudden, her hands trembled as she took the closed book back in her hand, her legs pushing her off her chair so she could get to her bed. She felt like she was falling sick, but her insides felt so warm.

"Yuriko," he warily called her, "are you alright?"

His body tensed up when she gasped for air, "I can't... breathe".

"Yuriko!" Satoru ran across the table to help her and noticed her skin. Her hands and her neck had turned blue and he didn't know what was happening. He quickly scooped her in her arms and teleported to her room, "I'll call Shoko" he said. She was deteriorating too fast. Shoko wasn't around but spoke on the phone to Satoru who was livid by the time he hung up.

"Fuck, you've been poisoned". He ran his fingers through his hair, trying to think fast.

Her eyes were gluing shut, her breaths growing slower, her mind slurring more and more.

"I can't think of anything!" Satoru's panic almost set in.

I need you to use the Reverse Cursed Technique to heal yourself. I can't heal you, only Shoko can", he quickly held her hand against his chest as he knelt next to her bed, "Yuriko, are you listening to me?!" Her pupils dilated as her vision blurred. He was in half a mind to teleport to wherever Shoko was and bring her there, but he was too scared to leave her there, now that he knew that the higher ups had something to do with this.

"YURIKO!", He knew she was drained. He knew she didn't have enough energy to even begin to heal herself.

"Fuck!", he quickly leaned in and pressed his lips against hers, hoping to get some reaction out of her, hoping she'd be lucid enough to absorb his energy and and use the Reverse cursed technique.

"I can't lose you too," he pulled back, his fingers holding her face, rubbing her skin gently to wake her up, "please... you're all I have". His eyes welled as he kissed her again and this time, he felt it faintly. He felt the energy surging out of his body and into hers. "Take all of it, Yuriko", her lips felt so soft against his, "take everything if it means you'll wake up again." He felt his body tingle as his lips desperately took hers. Her lips felt better than he'd imagined them to feel like.

Her eyes slowly opened and he pulled back, watching the purple stain on her neck and face reducing slowly. "That's good," he was still so close to her face, just in case she needed more. Her fingers involuntarily hooked to his blindfold, slowly pulling it down, revealing his deep, blue eyes. Her eyes landed on his forlorn ones. They looked so abysmal she forgot how to breathe, "You're a quick learner, Yuri. You're doing good." His voice sounded so broken as he held onto her.

"IS SHE ALRIGHT?!" Shoko came running.

"She's holding," Satoru pulled away, letting Shoko examine her.

"That felt like death", Yuriko didn't know if it was the poison or the dream she saw where Satoru kissed her.

"Stay with her, Shoko," Satoru quickly headed out the door in fury, straight to principal Yaga, "what the actual fuck do they think they're-" he was cut off by Principal Gakuganji starting at the white haired man who had slammed the door open.

Principal Yaga almost told him off but stopped when he realised that something serious had happened, "what is it?" He asked.

"This old geezer and his little group of friends poisoned Yuriko!"

"Those are some strong accusation, Gojo," Principal Gakuganji was unfazed, "are you sure?"

"Oh, I'm very sure. I know you like suppressing people who you think are capable of being very powerful. With people like Yuriko, Todo, Hakari and Okkotsu now threatening you, it's very obvious that you want them out of your way. And you started with her."

"Kids these days have no respect for elders," he sighed, "but that Zenin child is nothing but trouble. She's Suguru Geto's aide-"

"Was. And she tried to stop him." Satoru cut him off.

"She doesn't like us very much-" Principal Gakuganji resumed

"I mean... you haven't been the most welcoming."

"She could kill you."

"I'm not an idiot" Satoru scoffed, "I'm extra nice to her because I'm aware that she could kill me."

"Well, you shouldn't be", they heard a fourth voice and Satoru turned pale. He obviously didn't mean it and more importantly, he didn't want her to hear it.

"Yuri-"

"Because if I wanted to kill you all, you'd be dead by now." She said before looking at Principal Gakuganji.

"Next time you try to kill me, old man, I'll take your favourite guitar and beat you to death with it." Her cold eyes then proceeded to look at Satoru as Suguru's cursed energy seeped out of her. Her piercing eyes bore a hole in his conscience. He wanted to tell her he didn't mean it.

"And if I ever see you again, Gojo san... I'll strangle you with my bare hands."
