You have a gas mask. Your gloves and boots are spiked, allowing you to climb on walls. You have a retractable great sword. Imagine the blades extension and retraction working like a lightsaber made of steel.
You have managed to craft a gun, so you do have some ranged options as well.
These {} kinds of brackets will always be authors notes of some sort. If I want to clarify something but it doesn't fit in with the dialogue or something.
