"Fuck, Sun's comin'  up! Jump down here!"

"Close one... you alright?"

"...Yeah? Good. Now where the hell are we?"

The flashlight beam swept across the room, casting light upon the corpses of several Disassembly Drones.

"Ugh... Guess this place doesn't like our kind much, huh? But to take out this many... Recognize any of them? ...Yeah, me neither."

They walked through the halls, observing the signs of struggles, and some odd holes in the walls and ceiling. Then, behind them, they heard a strange chirping.

"What the-?"

Flash

Jack spun idly in his chair in the control room, staring at the ceiling, going round and round... There wasn't much to do. He had Tessa, N, V, and J, Cyn was on his lap, and the Solver had been defeated. At least for a while. You never know with a program that can evolve without limits. But now he was struggling with a new demon. A lack of motivation.

With the defeat of the biggest threat their world had ever faced, the monster that had torn apart his world, his life, his family, what else was there? Live life slowly until he died? That didn't fit the style of an Elliot and a Messorem. They lived fast and strong, every day to the fullest and all that Jazz. As nice as it sounded to slow down and take it easy, they'd never find it fulfilling for long.

Then the monitor lit up. Two Disassembly Drones detected in the upper levels. Something new and different that wasn't the apocalypse? Unheard of. He sat up, his arms wrapping tighter around the small drone in his lap as he looked at the screen with interest. Two yellow eyes looked up at him from under his chin before also looking at the screen.

The two dots moved along the monitor, the drones making their way through the facility, before stopping. They made a few aggressive jerks in random directions before falling still. The Sentinels got them. But they weren't dead, which was particularly odd.

Reap3r: So, those two drones. The Sentinels got them but I switched them to nonlethal. These drones are weird to say the least. Looks like two special models.

Jack: The specials? There was only a few of those, I didn't think any of them survived. Where are you putting them?

Reap3r: I'll have the Sentinels lock them down in those rooms the crazy drone had V and Uzi in so you can go check what's up with them.

Jack: Sounds good.

He put on his gas mask, setting Cyn down on the chair and teleporting to the upper level. He had two Sentinel's follow him as he walked into the room, seeing two drones he recognized faintly, from back when Earth was still inhabited. The female drone groaned as she woke up, while the male made no noise, eyes flicking on and examining the room.

Jack: Serial Designation S, Serial Designation C, good to see you again.

Both drones immediately looked at him. C's eyes narrowed, her fists clenching.

C: You...

S said nothing, but his eyes narrowed as he took in Jack's appearance.

Jack: Correct. It's me. Been quite a while, how have you been faring?

C: You bastard, we'd be better off if it wasn't for you!

Jack: Still blaming me for the Solver disaster, C? Sad, I thought the months we've all spent on this planet would have cooled you off. Now let's be cordial, we don't have to be enemi-
