I awoke in Tessa's mansion. I was me. Well, I've always been me, but I'm present me, not past me. I was on the balcony I'd passed out on back when Uzi threw us into our memories. There wasn't anyone around. I didn't hear anything either. I jumped down into the room below and started walking towards the library. Best place to start if I'm looking for The Solver.

Jack: Y'know, I really don't know what I expected here, but it wasn't this.

The empty mansion did not respond.

Jack: I know you can hear me asshole!

No response. I groaned in irritation and continued my journey. About halfway to the library I stopped. Something didn't feel right. I looked behind me. The location had changed completely. Behind me, where the doors to the main dining hall. I definitely did not come from the dining hall.

Jack: You trying to tell me something?

No response. I rolled my eyes and walked through the doors. The dining hall was empty, save for one person. A child passed out on the floor.

Jack: Oh great.

I walked over to him. He opened his eyes and stared up at me.

"Holy shit!"

He crawled backwards and stood up, eyes wide as he stared at me.

"You're-"

Jack: You, yes. Jack Messorem, pleasure to meet you.

I extended my hand. He visibly relaxed and reached out his own.

"Jack Messorem. Pleasures all mine. Mind telling me what's going on?"

Jack: Not too sure. All I l know is that this is a Solver induced hallucination. I don't know why we're here though.

"Solver induced?"

Jack: Yup. A lot happens in your future. Long story short, I'm currently passed out on a desk trying to stop The Solver from taking over a Worker Drone.

"Sounds annoying."

Jack: Believe me, it is.

"What's the password of our computer?"

Jack: Tessa's birthday. Checking to make sure?

"Yeah. Couldn't hurt. You're me though. I'd never tell anyone the password no matter what it was."

Jack: Especially not that, of all the passwords we've used.

"Yep. So, any idea as to why we're here?"

Jack: One or two. This is the place everything really kicked off.

"I don't remember a lot. I swear I was passed out on a balcony though. In a completely different room."

Jack: I woke up on said balcony. I was trying to get to the library and found myself here.

"House rearranged itself, didn't it? I can't imagine us getting lost in here."

Jack: Yeah.

I heard a voice. It was humming "He's a jolly good fellow".

Jack: It's about damn time you showed up.

"I was starting to wonder if it was just gonna leave us here to talk."

"I was, preparing."

Jack: Preparing to get your ass handed to you? You can't stop me.

"I believe you may see things differently, in a moment."
