{Sorry about the update frequency slowing down. Trying to get back into the groove of writing and such. I will make no promises, but I would like to start updating more often. Sry :(

OKAY. So, this chapter is because I wanted to write a fight scene vs Jack, but from another character's perspective, and I thought it would be nice to pair these two against each other again. J doesn't stand much of a chance. Lore is that she pissed him off, somehow, hurt Cyn or something, not really important WHAT she did, just that she did it.

THIS HAS MILD STORY SIGNIFICANCE, YOU CAN SKIP IT IF YOU WANT}

I was beginning to realize the mistake I'd made. Perhaps it wasn't a good idea to do that. Corporate isn't going to like this. Jack stood in front of me, he had removed his gas mask, and his face had covered itself with white energy. The rage radiating from him was enough to make someone's knees shake.

Tessa had quickly pulled everyone away. I wanted them to be safe, so I stayed to hold him off. It was me he was directed at, after all. He raised one of his hands, and his sword materialized in his grip. He pointed his other hand at me, and I ducked to the ground as a bolt of lightning flew over my head.

I was going to die here.

Different holographic windows floated around Jack, all containing massive amounts of code. The overload of information should've killed him, but it of course didn't. The air felt heavy, and charged with energy. As if every atom could split at his command and wipe me from existence. I looked at him. Death stared back. I blinked.

The sky became black, and seemed to crack as arcs of lightning leaped through the air. I drew my swords and tried to steady my breathing. It didn't work. I extended my wings, and launched at him. He raised his sword and blocked my strike effortlessly. I was blasted away and sent flipping through the air. I righted myself and dashed to the side to avoid a lightning strike.

I dove beneath a barrage of lasers and tried to hit him again. He seemed disappointed. He blocked me again, and his tail imbedded itself in my thigh, throwing me to the ground. He walked towards me, the ground shook with every step.

I was terrified. He was playing with me. He could kill me at any moment, but he isn't. He's letting me fight, letting me struggle against the impossible. Alowing me even the slightest hope that I may survive. Lightning jumped from his body to mine as he got near, burning whatever it touched.

I crawled backwards, getting to my feet to gain some distance. In my peripheral vision, I saw the air warp around me. I leapt away as reality imploded. I stumbled away from another tear in space imploding beside me. I crawled on my knees.

The ground shook and cracked. A giant creature exploded out from the earth, forever climbing out of the hole it had made. I could see cameras running down half the length of its body. It crawled to Jack and faced me, its jaws snapping hungrily. I tried to run, but it knocked me to the ground. My visor cracked.

My vison glitched and distorted. Jack teleported forth and swung his sword. I tried to block, but his blade crashed straight through it, delivering a large strike to my chest. Reap3r lunged, and tore my arm off. He threw it to the side and snapped his jaws. He was laughing at me. Jack punched my visor, worsening the crack. I fell to the ground, and was struck by lightning. I was barely alive, and couldn't move.

Jack reached his hand toward me. The solver glyph spinning and glitching in his hand. I felt him tear his way to my core and delete my programming. The pain was immeasurable. I screamed as loud as I could, and I begged him to stop, to show even the slightest bit of mercy. The thunder got louder, the already unbearable pain worsened. My vision was slowly fading as my core functions were erased from existence.

I woke up screaming. I clutched my head with one hand, and equipped my missile launcher, looking for Jack, wings spread with my tail poised to strike. I slowly remembered where I was. I ran a hand across my visor. No cracks. My tail relaxed and my wings folded away. I unequipped the missile launcher and grabbed a plush I had. A little disassembly drone with three tails. I clutched it to my chest, and cried.
