Of course. That's why he's been sneaking around, being secretive, LYING. He had another girlfriend, and he knew Ella wouldn't approve so he's just been avoiding it. And it was just like Ella thought, a pretty blonde with perfect hair and perfect teeth and perfect perfections. God it made her so mad. Why didn't he just tell her, instead of her finding out the truth in the most hurtful way.
Ella was yanked out her thoughts when she felt Joe's hand grab her arm, making her stomach. She glared at him as she faced him, snatching her arm from his grasp. "Well now, I want to go!" She snapped at him before sucking in a sharp breathe. Her face softened. 'Look at you. Yelling at someone cause your own feelings got hurt. No wonder Evan doesn't like you' her thoughts ran rapid as she frowned looking down.
"Ugh- I'm Sorry Joe. You didn't deserve that" she groaned putting her head in her hands, shaking it embarrassingly. So far she's shown to Joe, she's broke, super awkward, and now is a crazy jealous woman with anger issues. Perfect. She lifted her head again, pushing her hands deep in her jacket pocket as she avoided Joe's eyes. "No no-I know. We ARE just friends. But! Like!" She threw her hands up in frustration, letting them fall back down and slamming into her bare thighs to make a low clap noise.
"Friends tell each other when they're dating someone right? Like friends don't keep secrets, like ever. We're not even close friends yet and I would tell you if I was dating someone" she said pointing to Joe with a 'duh' expression. Ella pushed her hair behind her ears, this was getting to her way more than it should've. And it wasn't even the kiss that was upsetting her. It was how much it upset her that frustrated the most. She had no right but here she was, flustered and angry. She took a deep breath, looking to Joe.
"I'm not ready to go home, I just, I wanted to get out of there okay?" She said, her voice softer than it was as her eyes flickered between joes. "Let's get like-Ice cream or something" she forced a small smile to try to lighten her recent behavior.
