Ella let out a giggle as he mentioned never meeting a classy guy before. "Well no, no Joseph I haven't met such a classy guy, but I think I like it so far" she smirked before eyeing the table he picked out. Boring, traditional brown coffee table. She made a face before sticking her tongue out and blowing a short raspberry.
"That's the ugliest coffee table I have ever laid eyes on, and I've seen a fair share of coffee tables." She replied though his comment about Evan made her smile fall and she quickly turned away from Joe, continuing her browsing as she played with her fingers. Evan probably would like that. He would somehow turn into a symbolism about everyone's aura is sad with a little bit of happiness spotted around them. And it would be poetic and Ella would dumbly agree. But it was just dumb.
"No,no..it's fine" she said giving him an awkward smile as she scratched the back of her head. She sighed, letting her fingers trace a couch arm as she walked by it. "I..went by his house this morning, that's why I was late..I thought he was ignoring me and I wanted to tell him that I saw him last night but he wasn't answering my texts or phone calls." She paused, shaking her head. "But he wasn't even home, he stayed out..all night with that..girl. And It shouldn't bother me right? I was out with..." she trailed off as she looked to Joe, her cheeks blushing softly again as she looked down.
"Evan isn't a bad guy, I'm just probably over dramatic sometimes" she laughed softly before stopping at a rectangle brown wooden coffee table. Two small storage drawers on each side and plenty of space underneath for all the books he could imagine. She smiled brightly pointing at it.
"This-this is the one" she exclaimed clapping her hands together.
