Something in Ella's eyes shifted when he mentioned Marco. His teeth-a gunshot wound? He-he killed Marco as well? This..fucking bastard.
"I do, I mean it Joe! I fucking mean it!" She snapped as her eyes followed him to her jacket. She watched carefully as he took her phone and Ella drew in a shaky gasp as she watched Joe drop her phone to the ground and smash it repeatedly. Her blood boiled as her eyebrows narrowed at him.

"**you're crazy!**" Ella screamed, this time her hands banged against the glass walls at him. "You're fucking crazy Joe! You're a lunatic! A madman! You are heartless! You killed Evan! You killed Marco! You killed Beck! And what? You're gonna kill me now Joe? Well fuck you! You can rot in the prison cell you're gonna be in for the rest of fucking eternity Joe!" She screamed, kicking her foot against the glass before turning around and darting towards the staircase. Ella reached the door, turning the handle only to realize it was locked. Fuck. And the keys were back downstairs on the table. She had to get them quickly. Ella jogged back down the stairs, but her body froze when she saw the cage door wide open..and Joe was nowhere. Her body tensed as her breathing grew heavy, her eyes looked around the dark room..he blended in so well. No wonder he was never caught. Ella scrambled to open her bag, pulling out her pocket knife as she started to slowly walk forward.

"Joe!" She called out, her eyes darting from side to side. "Don't be a fucking coward Joe!" Ella stayed quiet, listening for any movement around her. But her breathing was so loud, the only thing she could hear was the hard thumping of her heart inside of chest. And maybe if she calmed down, she would've heard Joe's light footsteps behind her. In an instant, Joe had Ella in a head lock making her let out a yelp as she began to struggle against him. He was bigger and unfortunately stronger that she was and that was his advantage. God if only those karate lessons would kick in right now. She felt his grip around her throat tightened making it harder for her to breath along with her panicking. She thought quickly, flipping her pocket knife around and jamming it in Joe's leg, almost in the same spot of his gunshot wound. Luckily it was enough to let her go, Ella falling to her knees, dropping her knife as she coughed to catch her breath.

She went to reach for the knife again but felt Joe's hands grab her ankles and drag her back and away from it. Ella turned her body, snatching her leg from Joe's grasp to kick him in the side of the head before attempting to go for the knife again. She grabbed it just as Joe went to grab her again, giving her time to quickly turn and jab the knife into his shoulder. She slipped from under him, pulling herself up to her feet as she turned and ran across the dark room to the table with the keys.

She snatched the keys on the way to the lockers, looking for another weapon before eyeing the hammer in the sink. She picked it up, remembering seeing the stain on the end of it. Now she knew what kind of stains they were. Ella held the hammer tightly as she turned around and faced Joe.

"Joe..please..look how ridiculous this all is..you *know* you've done bad things. You know what you're doing..what you've *done* is wrong." She pleaded, her eyes watering. "Just end it..turn yourself in. I believe..I believe you can turn a new leaf, you can do better but..you have to just..trust me" she said, slowly walking towards him. "Trust me Joe..if you love me..you will trust me"
