"No, no I mean yes Evan..got around but why would he not contact anyone for two days. He would've loved to brag about how many girls he got in his bed in one night" Ella said rolling her eyes as her fingers typed away at his Computer
She let out a frustrated groan every time the computer gave her the error message of 'incorrect password' until it eventually locked itself for 5 minutes.
"I don't understand. I tried his birthday, my birthday, and EllaBisamazing21-my favorite number- and none of them worked" she exclaimed closing the laptop angrily and sliding it to the bed. She flopped back onto his bed, covering her face with her hands and sighing. "I just have a sick feeling in my stomach and If I could just get one sign, just ONE that he's alive, I will be satisfied. Even if he did decide he was just going to leave the state-the country-if I could I just...hear from him one time..it would be all better" she said through her hands, before sitting back up and looking at Joe. She gave him a sad smile. "You've been so supportive letting me drag you here, I promise, as soon as we find Evan, I will make this all up to you" She stood up, handing him Evan's laptop.
"So should we go find Ethan then?" She suddenly asked glancing to the door. "We should let him work on it right away right? The faster we can get in his laptop the faster we will know exactly where Evan was last! Let's go!" She didn't wait for an answer before she darted out of the bedroom, flipping off Marco as he was useless to her in the moment and leaving their house to head back to Mr. Mooneys. For a second, Ella felt like they were on the right track of things.
Once they got to Mr. Mooneys, the shop was empty beside Ethan who was at the register getting it closed up for the day. He was surprised seeing Joe and Ella back, Ella's mood more skippier than earlier.
"Hey guys, I thought you were gone for the day" Ethan said as they approached the counter.
"We were! But we need a favor! Joe here said you are like a master whiz kid and can break into this computer" she said taking the laptop from Joe and placing it on the counter infront of Ethan.
"Okay first of all, thank you Joe for finally acknowledging not only my intelligence skills in computers but my dedication to help those in need" Ethan responded with putting his hand over his heart as he looked to Joe with a smile and nod. "But I can't help you guys"
"What?! Why? You just said you have a dedication to help those in need? I am in need of said help!" Ella exclaimed slamming her hands on the counter.
"And I appreciate you guys coming to me, really, but I can't just drop everything and beckon to you on my hands and knees. I'm a grown man with my own life and responsibilities...and if I'm not home by 7 Blythe won't do that thing I like behind my ear tonight. And It's Star Wars night so you know what that means" He said with a smile making Ella's eye twitch.
"No..no I don't know what that means.." She replied softly which Ethan only shrugged to, grabbing his things and walking around the counter to leave.
Ella turned to Joe with a pleading look, pointing to Ethan for him to quickly do something to get Ethan to unlock the computer.
