Bellamy buried his face in his hands. The thought of the pain that his sister was going through hurt him. He didn't want to think about how sad his sister must've been so he pushed his mind in other places, happy places. Clarke was the first thing that came to mind.

Bellamy couldn't help but smile whenever he thought of Clarke. He always wanted to be around her. He worried about her. He couldn't ever stay mad at her for long. He felt a happy, fuzzy felling in his chest whenever she was near.

Clarke walked over to Bellamy, and stood behind him. Clarke walked up in back of him, and wrapped her arms around Bellamy's waist, and rested her chin on his shoulder.

Speaking of the Devil. Bellamy thought.

"I'm sure that she's fine." Clarke whispered into his ear. "I know that you're worried about Octavia with her loss of Lincoln and everything else that happened to her, but I'm sure that's she gonna be fine." Clarke paused, then added. "She has you, and no one is better than you."

A small smirk came to Bellamy's face.

"No one is better than you." Her voice repeated in his head, causing his smile to grow.

"I hate to break it to you, but there's plenty of people better than me, Princess."

"I highly doubt it." Clarke told him.

Bellamy turned around so that he was facing Clarke, her arms still around his waist.

"I don't." Bellamy told her. "Actually, I know there are people better than my, because your here."

Clarke let out a small laugh, and cracked a smile. "Well, I would much rather be around you than anybody else."

Bellamy smiled.

There was a short moment of silence before Bellamy spoke up.

"Hey, Clarke?"

"Yeah?" Clarke responded.

"I've been wanting to ask you something for a while now."

"Okay?" Clarke answered with a tone that sounded more like a question.

"Well, uh I wanted to know...God, I don't know how to say this-"

"Just don't think. Say whatever you want to." Clarke told him, getting slightly impatient.

"Uh. I just wanted to ask you if...um...if you like..if you want to be my girlfriend."

"Girlfriend?" Clarke asked, partly surprised.

"God," Bellamy smacked his head. "We're on earth, fighting for our lives-"

"Bellamy." Clarke interrupted, but he continued.

"My sister's boyfriend died, and-"

"Bellamy."

"all I do is ask you out." Bellamy continued. "God, Clarke, I'm so sorry. I just-"

"Bellamy!" Clarke raised her voice, making him stop mid sentence. "I'll be your girlfriend. I want to be your girlfriend."

A huge grin came to Bellamy's face. "You do?"

"Of course I do." Clarke told him with a smile of her own.

Bellamy's smile grew even bigger.
