The Avengers had quickly grown used to a blue Loki, and while he had to suffer many drunken people telling him he looked like a Smurf, whatever that was, the party had been fine. His pigmentation was the least of his worries, however. Savannah had disappeared, and Loki knew she was still weak from the last fight she had had. Tony was nowhere to be seen either, and Loki was struggling not to panic, and assume the worst.

If Stark had taken advantage of her, there would be hell to pay. Loki strode briskly up the steps leading to Stark's penthouse (he had forgone the elevator, mostly due to the couple loudly fornicating in there), and stood still. His blood seemed to boil and freeze at the same time, as he heard muffled moaning sounds from Stark's room. He was seriously debating how to make spontaneous combustion look accidental without the use of his magic, when Stark stumbled out of his room. He had clearly been sleeping, and the moans were an after-effect of imbibing enough alcohol to inebriate a horse.

Savannah must be downstairs, Loki thought. She was not, and it was only then that he remembered that Savannah disliked overly loud music, and large crowds in small spaces. She was on the roof then.

She was, and Loki relished the feeling of being right, before he noticed that she was not alone. She was with a stranger, a man, and it did not take a fool to see that they were being intimate. Or at least, he was. Loki was a god, and he knew enough body language to realize that Savannah was rejecting his advances, backing further and further away from the unwelcome person, and closer and closer to ...

The edge of the roof. Did the drunkard not understand that he was intimidating her? It seemed that he did, and he did not seem entirely drunk. Savannah was trembling now, shaking with fear and apprehension. Loki leaned in closer, to catch what they were saying, and suddenly, Loki wanted to rip out the man's innards through his throat, and freeze them in front of him. He wanted to turn the man's skin inside out and burn him. He wished to gouge out the man's eyes and force him to consume them.

For this man was threatening Savannah.
