Loki's bruises were still fading, and whenever he tried to do anything too stressful, he would end up whimpering in pain.
'Shhh, now Loki,' Savannah said, 'We both know you're still not fully healed, and if you don't stop being so proud, I will tie you down.'
Loki was panting too heavily to say anything. He had just tried to sit up, and he had felt something give, deep in his stomach.
It bloody well hurt.
'Loki, I'm going to get my clothes, and have a shower, okay? Call me if you need me.'
She left the room, and Loki slumped in relief. The pains in his stomach were worse than anything. He allowed the glamour to fall, for a moment, and the faint bruises were quickly replaced by ugly yellow and purple bruises. Hideous black splotches decorated his otherwise pale skin, and there were red patches where he'd just injured himself. He sighed, and wished he hadn't done that to Savannah.
She had turned around alarmingly quickly, and her fist was just about the most vicious thing he'd experienced yet. When the Hulk had fought him, it hadn't been so bad.
Ravennha's hand was stronger than concrete, and it had been directly at his stomach. Loki sighed again, and resumed his glamour, just as Savannah burst in.
'Sorry I took so long,' she said, sheepishly, 'Tony held me up.'
She disappeared into the bathroom, leaving the door unlocked, and slightly open, in case Loki suddenly hurt himself.
About ten minutes later, the door opened fully, and Savannah emerged from the steamy bathroom, wrapped in a fluffy white towel, hair dripping down her back.
She bent over him, checked his stomach, and then returned back up-stairs. She was only wearing a towel, and Loki hoped she would run into Stark.
She did, and Loki knew because the sound of a slap resonated through the tower.
She probably ran into the Captain too, because there was a lot of bumping, and a few minutes later, a rather flustered Steve hurried down the corridor towards the Training Room.
What was taking her so long?
Loki was tired, and when he fell asleep, he didn't notice that his glamour had slipped.
Savannah did, though.
