  • Dedicated to Sophie, The Queen of Sheba

A/N: This chapter is dedicated to Sophie, the awesomest friend ever. She was the first person to read all of my stories without emotional blackmail or me having to ask twice. I am thinking up some more shenanigans, so hold on to your safety bar, ladies.

Quote: Unless your name is Google, stop pretending you know everything.

'Loki?'

'Yes?'

'What did Thanos do to you?'

'When I fell from the Bifrost, he found me, and manipulated my pain and anger, using mind games and brute force. He took away my magic, and used it against me. He would warp time, so that a minute would last a year for me. I was used for a sick experiment.'

'Experiment?'

'Yes, Thanos wished to know how to destroy the Aesir. Once he realised that I was a Jotunn, his methods were less scientific, and more sadistic.'

'Is that why you looked so empathetic?'

'When?'

'When I told you about my powers.'

'I suppose so.'

'Loki?'

'Yes?'

'I bet I can cook better than you.'

'What?'

'I said, I bet I can cook better than you.'

'I highly doubt that.'

'You're on, brother.'

'Brother?'

'It's slang.'

'I see.'

'Steve will be the judge. We cook whatever we want, with as many ingredients as we can, and the time limit is an hour.'

'Is that it?'

'Yes. No magic, either.'

'You're no fun.'

'C'mon, let's tell Steve and get ready.'

'As you wish.'

'Loki, have you seen the Princess Bride?'

'Yes, it is a good film.'

'I preferred the book, though.'

'You are the only person I have met who knows that it is a book.'

'Well, I am rather intelligent.'

'Careful, Savannah, we don't want your head to explode.'

As usual, Loki caught the item Savannah hurled at him.

'Quite a vicious one, aren't we?'

Savannah growled.

'What a feral creature.'

Savannah growled again, and Loki smirked.

'Loki, I need to think of another word to describe you that isn't poo.'

'Hmmm. What about sexy?'

Loki caught the other thing Savannah threw at him, this time with his left hand.

'Are you ambidextrous?'

'Yes, though I favour my right hand.'

'Unfair. Now you have two good hands to cook with.'

'Life's a bitch.'

Savannah looked shocked.

'You're not supposed to swear!'

'Am I not?'

'No. That is my job.'

'Another case of illegal aliens stealing people's jobs?'

'I guess you are an alien.'

'So I am.'

'Aliens can't cook, y'know.'

'We'll see.'

Savannah had to admit, Loki was pretty talented. After completely beating her in the cooking challenge, the rest of the day had gone the same way. Savannah had failed miserably at everything. Loki was even better at knitting than her.

'I didn't know you could knit.'

'I can't.'

'So how didja beat me?'

'You can't either.'
