A/N: It's in the title, man.
They weren't quite sure how it had happened, but Savannah was sitting in Loki's lap, and they were about to kiss.
Loki had magicked up her favourite blend of coffee, and it was perfect, as usual, and then they had bantered, as usual. Savannah had told Loki a little more about her care-home, and Loki'd comforted her when she had got over-emotional, as usual, Savannah ended up calling Loki a poo, and he had mentioned the word sexy, as usual, and then they were having a moment.
So, they were about to kiss, gazing deeply into each others eyes and shit, and Tony didn't burst in.
So far, so good.
Loki reaches out and gently strokes her cheek, and she leans into the touch. They lean closer and...
*ping*
closer, and ...
*poof*
closer, and ...
*whoosh*
so close, they're almost touching, and ...
*BANG*
Savannah topples backwards off of Loki's lap, and Loki catches her before she hits the floor. His reflexes were amazing.
'Dafuq was that?'
'Savannah?'
'Yes?'
'Does your Starktech normally implode?'
'It happened once, the day you came back to Midgard.'
'Interesting.'
'It's a bloody nuisance.'
'Have you asked Stark about it?'
'Yes. He thought I was joking, because he couldn't find anything wrong with them.'
'Nothing?'
'Other than the fact they just spontaneously combusted, no.'
'May I look at them?'
'Tony has the other ones, but you can use my bath-tub.'
'Bath-tub?'
'Yes, that's what all the noise was.'
'You have an electric bath-tub?'
'Yes. Tony's fault.'
'And what if it had malfunctioned while you were bathing?'
Savannah grimaced.
'I'd rather not think about that.'
'I'm going to speak to him.'
'Okay, but don't hurt his feelings.'
'What do you mean?'
'You know what I mean.'
'Spoilsport.' he muttered.
'What was that, dear?'
'I don't like you.'
'Just don't tease him, okay?'
'You're no fun.' Loki complained.
Savannah smirked.
