Sehki rejected that notion. "You just want to wipe out an entire dorm just to stop Voidvoks?"
Taylor pinned him to the tree bark. "The whole world is watching us struggle with you in this way. If you're working with them," ripping open fin laced with water around it aiming at his neck. "I'll wash you away with them."
Would this be hot if I was a girl or bi? Wait, why the hell would I want anyone to be in this situation? "I literally just helped you take down a giant crow beast!"
"That was all me," his shout claimed as he manifested a large vortex of water from the moisture in the air, sucking Sehki in. The hands and feets flailed in vain attempts to escape being spun around, almost being slammed into a tree. Helpless to slip his entire body was slipping into the water, he tried constructing earth around his feet to pull himself out, knowing he couldn't swim.
Rigal joined in. "This is for hurting Ainsley," punching him out of the vortex with a fist of air pressure, and increasing the wind velocity of the whirlpool, lowering his hand to drop it on him.
"Wait, I'm trying to say use your powers to pull them out of the woods and finish them off in the air. If you destroy the dorm, they'll just use the debris to hide themselves!"
"No one asked you," Xia shouted, about to hurl a fireball at him.
"Enough!"
Calypsa's voice yelled, pointing to the newscopter nearby. "Get rid of the Voids first," blowing Sehki to her with her staff. "Bully later. Ainsley, can Sehki's plan work?"
"If we don't treat this as a contest of measuring egos, it's worth a shot."
"Why should we listen to him?"
Calypsa wrapped her hands around Rigal's neck.
"I'll play with whoever stops the most amount of Voids all-night-long," in a calm tone all of them could hear.
Rigal's eyes lowered. "Oh, now I'm looking forward to that," only for Taylor to reach at his shoulders.
"Please, I'm gonna win. But we could share if we tie," earning smug agreement.
The two combined forces to re-create the swirling whirlpool of air and water magic. Taking Ainsley's suggestion to condense it into a smaller form, they maneuvered it around every tree and vicinity, pulling back and collecting several Voidvoks airborne from the entrance.
"Mine," jumping at the horde when Xia smirked, bouncing off their shoulders.
"Hey!"
"Never forget," waving her hands with glee and igniting them before crossing her hands to incinerate them, erasing them from existence. "I'm the strongest," laughing.
Sehki snickered at Rigal and Taylor's rage, enjoying his skin soothing from the breeze of their attacks, cooling the air from Xia's onslaught while the three battled in mid-air to get rid of the rest of them.
Ainsley told him and Calypsa to follow them until they got to the dorm, not finding anything there. Sehki let them in, but they couldn't find anything.
"See, told ya! But why did the Voids attack the city and the school at once? Wait, this was their plan!"
"What are you implying?"
"Cusp Central is close to CU, so it'd make sense they'd expect the militia or us to stop them. But if we only went to one, the other would be more vulnerable! A divide and conquer strategy! We were just lucky we did the same."
"Why were in the city, anyway?"
"Uh," think think, aha, "well I felt bad for hurting you and was looking around for a gift to say sorry," stop cracking your voice me, "haha. Too bad they got in the way of that."
