Bethany and his benefactor left after promising to nurse Professor Delta back to health, and Sehki went back to his friends to let them know the news, walking about to House Erebus.

"Someone using the teachers as power sources used by Cluster. They're definitely tied to the monarchs."

"Did you and Ainsley find something?"

"Ainsley found a small dose of blood but it disappeared. Almost like someone was making sure someone was keeping tabs on them. But Saiban keeps that information under wraps. We're only getting that intel from the top."

"Yup. Then I have to win and get the truth from them. If I tell them I won't come back, I can relay the intel back to y'all. But if I leave Terra-"

Lorena covered his doubt ridden hand. "We'll find a way. Don't give up on your lawyer. You just focus on winning the Mightatholon."

"Got it. Anyway, Cree, I'm not sure if you could stay with us, but barely anyone knows I'm alive so you can stay too."

"And Cree," Candy cried, upset. "Why didn't you reach out for me when you came out?"

"Well, I wanted to surprise you all in person," pulling out a form.

Lorena was the first to grab it. "Wait, that's a-"

Candy and Sehki were left in shock. You got an application for Celestial University?!"

"Yup! Today is the last day before it's finalized," walking in. "Guessing this is the solidarity confinement equivalent of the dorms."

"It's a work in progress, but congrats man," hugging his new paladin by the neck.

Candy asked them to come to the kitchen, offering them the cake she baked.

"Lorena got more clues, Sehki defeated Rigal, and you saved people from that monster Cree. We all deserve to celebrate."

She had them slice up the cake together. Everyone shared a slice on the couch and bench. Sehki sighed. Maybe it was time to enjoy it, staring at the repairs done to the house, including the windows. As he went to turn the blinds away, he noticed a familiar

She had them slice up the cake together. Everyone shared a slice on the couch and bench. Sehki sighed. Maybe it was time to enjoy it, staring at the repairs done to the house, including the windows. As he went to turn the blinds away, he noticed a familiar figure watching them from afar.

"I'll be right back," leaving as Lorena was reaching for his plate. He ran through the forest in pursuit until the broom of the person stopped, turning around: Calypsa.

"What are you doing here?"

"I was going to congratulate you on a well earned victory against Rigal, but it seems you've got other priorities. Well, at least you made a solid group of friends."

Alarmed, spectral claws covered his hand. "Don't you dare hurt them!"

"Well, you're already doing that yourself. Be honest with yourself, do you really think they'll forgive you when they learn you're just using them to get back to Earth?"

"They already know," aware she was right. "But at least I can trust them."

She shut down the quick surprise. "That was supposed to be our little secret," playfully childish.

"Wait - you didn't tell anyone?"

"I told you I know how to keep a secret. But if you can go back to being my pet, I'll give you exactly what you need, without laying a finger on you," slowly slipping his mask off. "I kiss, not tell."

She leaned in for a kiss, only tasting a wall of shadow between them.

"Get lost, Calypsa. I want nothing to do with you."

"You think you can beat Xia and get enough Starlight to see your brother: with who? A Ursa Minor as fragile as your ice? Your sorry excuse for a girlfriend who thinks she can expose years of corruption? A criminal who couldn't even the person who sent him to prison?!"

His shadow stopped inches from hitting her in the face.

"You spent your whole life letting Taylor get away with his crimes and never helping Ainsley or Rigal with their issues just to become queen. You're just as wicked and evil as all the Voids!"

When he turned back, Calypsa stabbed her staff into a tree, wiping a tear off her face, yelling Caelum as elongated wooden tendrils raced towards him. His shadow narrowly slashed them all away as she dashed right in front of him, with tears in her eyes.

"You think I'm stupid? You built your team for the Mightatholon, and I'm on Xia's team."

"And? I'll defeat you both in front of everyone."

She smirked. "Then let's test that!" Her fists were ready to swing at him when an elongated fist flew in the space between their heads. The second one she caught only for her face to get slammed with the cake.

Sehki was grabbed and flown back, finding himself in Lorena's arms with the Uyocron siblings behind her.

"I don't appreciate you harassing my client."

She licked the cake on her mouth. "Isn't dating your client unprofessional?"

"So is being an inactive accomplice to attempted murder. No wonder your role was revoked." She pulled out a phone, showing Sehki a photo with a loose false shot of a body falling off Cygnus Crescent. "Someone at the Festival calls it a weird shot, I call it evidence with enough evidence for our missing prince."

"Tch." Then her eyes calmed down, spotting Cree, and smiled. His mouth dropped.

"Wait, Master? Is that you?"

"Master?" Sehki and Candy turned to each other, then him. "You're the one who trained him back then?"

Her smile and wave said all they needed to know. "Congrats on applying to Celestial."

"Thanks. But why are you and Shadow fighting? Wait, was the prince the guy you-"

Calypsa whispered Lyra, firing loud sounds forcing them to cover their eyes.

"If you win the Mightatholon, I'll explain everything."
