The next day, the Aurgia taxi brought Sehki into the urban Shugoda Metropolis he longed to visit, dropping him towards Sightset Park, housing binoculars for anyone to visit. Yet, even in the morning, he could see Canis Major approaching.

He morphed his shadow into a bike up to the top of a building, trying to change it into a hoverboard upon seeing kids ride around it. Trying to kick up air, he steered through the sky, gliding to see the amusement parks and windmills from afar, and getting a closer look at the winged beasts and creatures that served as models, mascots, decorations, and designs.

"The Azure Dragon," watching the giant dragon statue in the clouds, connected to the ground through its wings. Appropriately, the main castle hovered side by side, just inches above the ground.

"Fitting. Rigal, keep raising your ego," watching a video of him dissing his friends, "and I'll be the sun to your Icarus."

Eventually he came across the TIPS branch in Shugoda, offering to pay bail.

"Are you sure? Most criminals would be best for parole first."

"It's fine by me," handing them the money. "What good is youth if we never give it the sun to blossom?"

"Well have him out by tonight then. Just for clarity, can we see some ID?"

"His sister's information," showing photos with him cropped out. "She's residing with me, and we'll catch up on his schooling. Anything we should know before his release?"

"He got into an altercation with Prince Rigal years ago. The evidence provided was enough to reduce his sentence but should similar incident occur, he may not be so lucky."

"Thank you officer," briefly taken aback by a blond man with wild hair, a mask covering his mouth and his hands and legs locked together.

"Who's that?"

"Someone your friend's brother was lucky to survive against."

That look in his eyes. A glare that could strike fear in any body, clear, and pure in the destruction and chaos he could implement without thinking. Even the Voids would be afraid.

Hope we never cross paths.

"And one more thing. Mr. Crevan is an Ursa Major. For his safety; I suggest he sign up for the army's Ursa Legion. He'd make a great service for our world."

"I'll let him decide, but thank you," handing him a list of locations for Crevan to meet him at.

"Next up," making a call. "Hey, Madam. Yeah, is Kurenai there? Yup, yeah that was me. Okay, sure. Call it justice for Elaine and Asa, bye," hanging up. "A high rise center for fae interested in content creation. Nice."

After asking around, he came across the Scales Tower, where every floor was painted and brushed with dragon scales and different colors.

As he approached, a young woman clad in a white hat, gloves, dress, and jeans, like leaves protecting her tree skin from security not allowing her in.

When they tried pushing her back, she summoned scales that pierced their flesh, pleading with them to help her save a life.

One of the men responded with a kick that almost forced her back when Sehki caught her.

He slipped into their shadow, whacking them from behind to lower their guards long enough to get them to leave, taking a cue from Lorena and holding his hands together as a medium for water spit at the cameras.

They tried to tackle him but scale bullets flew at them enough for him to slip into the darkness, grab her, and escape until they reached a few blocks away, giving her time to breathe.

"You okay?"

"Haven't had a rush like that since I did my own stunts," taking a second to breathe. "Hold on. You're the guy Sena told me about."

"Shadow Paladin, at your service," bowing.

"Sounds like you came up with that at some star screening doom concert."

"In front of my paramour's bedroom. You've weren't in movies with weirder character names?"

"Touche. Amarilis Gallotia at your service. Call me Rilis for short."

Both of their stomachs growled at the same time, leading her to invite him for Saiban Special Stew, ordering Lacerta wings and fries, but without the stew.

"Haven't had these in a while," slurping them down with no hesitation.

"Lack of cash or haven't been here in a while?"

"Went to Tellus to film some commercials for medical treatments. Coalition doesn't hire anyone outside their own unless you appeal, Sabian's rules don't allow any modifications. Though I haven't taken many roles in Shugoda since the breakup."

"Rigal's status plus false accusations, and his Sky Cult of people looking for a role model given the Voids panic. I get why anyone would dump him, but, what happened?"

Scales appeared across her face, shedding and replacing skin off her face, pointing to a hole with a bruise mark. "He's not receptive to criticism."

---

"Rigal, please, calm down."

"I can't be doing this right now! If our parents find out, they'll be having us train to beat these things. The guy was probably some druggie hyped on a fix."

"He tried to turn me into something," showing off the scales that stopped the injection. "Look! His outfit was super sketchy and everything. It felt like the same energy that comes from Voids."

"I can take it myself then!"

"No, you can't. Other actors and actresses are saying they're getting messages asking for salvation against our struggles and quitting projects. This doesn't happen normally. Let the other heirs and your parents know, this isn't normal!"

He smacked her hand away. "Are you doubting me?"

"Listen to me, I'm trying to keep you," going for his hand, only to knock it out. "Oh sorry," picking it up. "Who is this?"

"Taylor's girls, we just share sometime-"

"I'm trying to make sure you're safe and you're cheating on me?"

"It's not that deep!"

She scrolled through his photos. "You let her go balls deep in you," throwing the phone in his face.

"Fuck off!" The punch to her face was as sudden and brutal as her fall.
