Ainsley's energy was depleted. The art professor fell face first on the ground.
"You disgraced prince! You have no right to call yourself a king, you demon!"
His shadow covered his hand, ripping out the snake with Candy's memory.
"A demon you all can't exorcize. I'd rather be a demon than have a queen like you," handing the beast back to return it to Candy. "She's not my girlfriend, but she's a better advisor than wh."
She struggled to get up, about to launch what remaining snakes lasted when Bethany injected her with a serum.
"Not fun getting ambushed, is it? It's temporary, but it'll shut down your Stellarts for quite some time," transforming and kicking the ground, uprooting everyone underground, panting. "I need to start working out again."
Ainsley and Sehki exchanged glances. "Wait, that's why you were gone?"
"When you started acting differently, I kept trying to reach you, but you acted like someone was influencing you. One night you and the other heirs came back drunk so I stayed after hours to burn it and see what was wrong. The influx of Serpens within you was starting to become a tumor."
"So you let my parents know. What did they say?"
"They were concerned and let me know they hired Gorgon to improve your skills, but would have a talk to ensure we find a balance between your strength and health. Then days after, I was attacked by an army of snakes. Had I not reached the treatment we stockpile, I may have been stuck like that for a while."
"So I fled back home and asked the other servants. Apparently someone convinced the king and queen to bring Gorgon on again to get you in your new body. Your parents knew the risk but I heard they didn't care. I started finding more clones underneath one of the laboratories. And I didn't want to lose you."
She grabbed Sehki and Ainsley's hand, taking a blood sample from the former, and injecting two of them in the latter.
"But, when I was researching how to keep your body intact, the sample I took from our missing prince slipped in. The effects aren't strong, but his blood can temporarily stabilize the StellArts in your body. You've gotten stronger, haven't you?"
She nodded after Sehki pointed to himself. "Long story. Huh, how'd you know it was me?"
"Because silly, you kept your promise. Thank you for looking after them"
He blushed. "Nah, I just wanted to beat them up after attempted murder."
"Ainsley, you did what?"
Before they could defend themselves, Gorgon lifted up a petrified Bodin, about to throw him at the four. Lights around the open field shined on them
"Stheno Gorgon, you are under arrest!"
The militia of Cusp Central had them surrounded. She threatened to break the body if anyone moved, but a familiar face elbowed her in the chest, holding and covering Bodin in a wool substance.
"Professor Delta!?"
"I wanted to check on someone after our conversation," staring at the field. "You're a failure as a professor."
"Dispel the magic ailment affecting the students!"
"Sir yes sir!" The officers got to work freeing one another, starting with Bodin. Delta dropped him for Candy to catch in her arms.
"You're okay!"
"Thanks for the save," smiling at her.
Ainsley was fully transparent with the officers before them, Sehki, Bethany, and Delta approached Gorgon with a question.
"Who helped you persuade my parents to restart the project?"
A Voidvok ripped out the ground before she could answer, injecting hair tendrils into her body. Vectors stabbed through its body, sending it towards Cluster, who took the tendrils, ate it, and destroyed the Void.
"Pity, she lost the memory of that cloaked stranger. For now, have a nice day," bowing and turning into a ball of light.
"Cluster!" Ainsley fired a blast of mud that did nothing.
"After them," the head officer shouted, splitting up the officers. The earth heir fell ill, prompting Bethany to go after them and Candy joining them to get Bodin some rest.
Sehki debated what to do when Delta's hand caressed his hair.
"Good job out there, whoever you are. Don't hesitate."
"Uh, right," running after them. Does he know?
They went to the CCC, taking a private room separate from the others after a nurse took Bodin into one of the main halls. Bethany's hands and feets worked intensely, finishing the prototype medicine for Ainsley. The effects would show once their magic power would replenish.
Sehki and Candy gasped when Ainsley pulled her onto the operating room.
"It was you who made that bunker for me, wasn't it?"
"Bunk-er? Lord Ainsley, I have no idea what you mean," flustered as they reached for her cheeks.
"You've always been there for me, and I pushed you away," passionately diving towards her lips. "I want you to be my future bride, not her."
Bethany's lower half grew centaur legs that rose in awe as Ainsley's lips gently poured into hers. Their kisses then spread across her face, neck, and forehead while she hooked her hand across their neck, gleefully moaning.
Sehki and Candy bore witnesses to them fondling each other. Ainsley pulled off their skirt, sliding down Bethany's centaur bulge. The former watched the latter two gasp, moan, and squeal in pleasure with the nurse's clothes slipping off as they made out. The two eye's drift to each other.
"I-is a student and staff?"
"Well she's not their grading professor-but as a physician...not sure."
"How old are Ainsley, Bethany, and Gorgon anyway?"
Hearing eighteen, twenty-two, and twenty-eight made the two blink.
"Bethany's the better option." Candy nodded in agreement, closing each other's eyes when the pairing orgasmed and climax caused milk from the nurse to fly out. She grabbed it, mixing and burning them into a tube and creating a bottle.
"This should work as a mobile medicine that'll last longer. How does your body feel?"
Ainsley yawned, lightly sneezing. "Better," not physically as strained. "She told me to break my limits and not use them anymore."
"So why are we here?"
"First, I want to apologize to you both. Second, I can feel the Voids are behind this."
"Because you and I want the same thing: figure out why our parents and the Voids want you dead."
