Around the same time, Calypsa and the heirs were in the midst of their transmission with their parents.

"We were going to congratulate you all on eliminating that traitorous bloodline, but it seems we can't recover their body. You're certain you all diminished his spark."

"His body caused a crater when he died. I'm sure I finished him off," Xia argued.

"Good job my child."

Ainsley raised a finger. "And what about the Astrovoids?'

"What about them? Now should be an easier time for you to defeat those measly creatures. You are all supposed to be the strongest creatures on our planet, so you shouldn't have anything to worry about. The biggest fae threat to you all is gone."

"You thought the strongest threat to the fae was that beta? Xia, your old man's tripping stars, isn't that right, father?"

The stern glare of both kings made him take a step back.

"If that were true, we wouldn't have needed all four of you. Calypsa, good work."

"I hope that means I've fulfilled my end of the bargain."

"Complete reign and immunity from surveillance, top consideration for the monarch's hand in marriage, and access to Starlight."

She gracefully bowed as the transmission ended.

The five of them returned physically to the Venuscillin Haven.

Xia stretched her hands, burping towards the screen. "There's no way he survived that! Cluster should've finished him off before we left."

Calypsa dropped down on the couch, glancing at them. "Who's Cluster?"

The four turned to her, not realizing she never knew anything.

"Just someone to help us find proof Sehki attacked the Voids."

They couldn't see her eyes, swinging her staff at Xia and pulling her by the clothes to land on her lap.

"You weren't working with Voids, were you?"

"Pftt, as if."

"Good," lifting her chin up to feel her lips. "I'm the one that'll make you all the strongest generation of heirs Terra's ever seen," pulling a flustered Xia back to attach lipgloss scented with a certain fragrance. "Ainsley," summoning a gust of wind to fling them over to her. "What's," spotting a glow in their eyes, "wrong?"

"Nothing. I just feel," twitching, "different."

She flicked her hair during a quick glare, calling out Coma for a bit. "Heard you kicked Candy out?"

"Her cells weren't useful. Girl has no talent," feeling a bite on their neck.

"Just be careful you don't have any bad snakes in the grass. Rigal, Taylor, anything you'll be doing in the meantime?"

"Gotta go in the studio for more vids, raise our men right. Quick, that night, did anyone hear something about the Herdsmen?"

"Yeah, attacked some place in Cusp Central, we got banned from," Taylor blurted out to Calypsa and Rigal's intrigue. The former yelled out Camelopardalis, stretching her neck at his phone, blinking at the sight of the name before she noticed locations of film studios.

"I need to make a visit tomorrow. Huh, you've heard about the rumor too, actors and actresses going missing and shutting down production too? I hope nothing bad happens to the new Victory Rider movie. Would be nice if they had an heir for extra security."

Taylor had to stop himself from crushing his palm, walking away.

"Didn't you try to win a raffle for the behind the scenes? Probably best not to go."

The news announced the same numbers Sehki had. She gasped.

"Oh yeah, I forgot."

"Well go," Xia argued. "Where are the tickets? Don't tell me they're with that traitorous scumbug."

"Uh, I'll deal with that later," regaining her composure, grinning and scratching Xia's chin, making her purr. "Don't tell me that you were jealous."

"You're so hard to read. Who are you really in love with?"

"The one that I'll fight for even if the world is against them. That person should be obvious," staring up into the sky. "You'll figure it out eventually."

Meanwhile, Sehki stared down, unsure of if it was a good name. Asa, Elaine, Damocles: the buff androgynous male, and Nikki: one of the chefs all offered additional names.

"How about Phantom Paladin?"

"Demon Prince?"

"Obsidian Prince!"

"Shadow Knight?"

"They're all good. Maybe I should stick to the Demon King. But if I have shadow magic, maybe Demon Shadow?"

"Figure that out later," their boss argued. "But if the world thinks you're missing or dead, and you plan on taking them down, you're going to need a disguise. Got any ideas?"

"Hmm," spotted the small banner on the news announcing the raffle for the movie. "Got any outfits for superhero kinks?"

"We...do!" She pressed the machine they had in the back for different scenes and scenarios, pressing different options. He peered at the options.

"Okay. There's gauze bandages to cover my skin! A helmet with see through vision. Can I alter it with a domino mask?! A jacket and gloves can add more layers to my shadow," thinking it over. "A perfect design for the Demon King's evolution!"

He laughed until his weak legs forced Madam to catch him from falling. "Someone whip him up for dinner, you use the bathroom and rest. Your work training starts tomorrow, I'll leave this out in your room. Got it?"

"Sir, yes, ma'am," trying to walk up the stairs. He took her suggestion of using his shadow to control and cover his limbs, barely able to get upstairs.

"He's got a lot of work cut out for him."

The next morning, Sehki's shadow helped him put on his new work clothes, covered enough that no one could see his skin. He came down, reading a list of assignments to accomplish throughout the store, but Damocles and Nikki told him Madam didn't want him out for another half hour.

Confused, he left the employees room, only to find a sight every staff member recognized was not good for him at all.

Madam Luan and Calypsa conversing in the same booth.

"You've got a new employee?"

Rage, confusion, and watery eyes left him speechless.
