The next week, Sehki was busy trying to catch up on all the work he missed. He'd have to introduce himself to Professor Delta eventually for grades and get the Starlight, on top of trying to master the basics of his Cardinal and Fixed skills.

Candy started showing him more unique ways than Calypsa's training, showing him how she used the dirt, rubble, stone, and nature to mold them into different creatures: while he couldn't make a direct dress, she waved her hands, summoning a pillar with a different shape.

Then she spread her magic out to turn it into ice. "Try it with your shadow!"

"Kay," kicking and raising his feet while spreading his shadow throughout the rising pillar to make it somewhat spiker, what she intended. "But if you're so strong, how come you get pushed around so much?"

"Well it takes me a while to think of things and combining natural elements and StellArts can be," yawning.

"Ahh. Extra training time?"

She sighed at the thought while he had to form earth armor around their arms, trying to add shadow and ice consistently. After a while, they went back into Erebus to plan his next move, showing her the tickets he'd won.

"Targeting actors and actresses does not make that much sense to me. They make shows and movies to make people happy."

"Not necessarily. Back on Earth everyone's got their reasons: sure to act and entertain is one, but others are forced to, have no money, get tricked into it, become a star, and it's not an easy position. All eyes are on you for better or worse. If you're going to start an opposition to humanity, it makes sense to go after the vulnerable and exploited members."

"Wow," unnerved, "you almost sound like a villain."

"Demon Prince to the world, remember? Besides, I made that moniker to protect those types of people. Money or not, no one deserves to be used like that."

A knock on the door got his spine shaking, jumping off the bed and avoiding cracks on the stairs to the site of Bodin leaving a box.

"The mail center in Terra Safety says if you never came, someone had to bring it her."

"Huh?" Candy jumped down to join him. "We had a mail center?"

She opened the door. "For me?"

"Well no, for the prince. Rumor has it he may have survived but you never know. But I heard you were staying here and," scratching his head, "I wanted to see if you were okay."

"Oh."

Sehki, hiding behind the door, whispered, tell him you were thinking about him too, with a big grin on his face.

"I um weren't thinking about you at all," snatching the box, flustered. "Just a little bit, glad you're okay," slamming the door.

"Wait, I was thinking this weekend we could spend some time just working on some art work and fashion designs, like we used to."

She turned to Sehki, whose nod screamed absolutely on board.

"Come by later, a-and we'll see what happens?"

"Cool, see ya then."

As Bodin left, Sehki shut the door. "Yes!"

"What do you mean?"

"People are getting suspicious that you're here. You're going to be my dark architect. Fill the house and forest with enough creations as you two wish. And maybe do a little more," winking.

"But I wanted to go to the movies," she whimpered.

"It's behind the scenes, not the actual movies. It's not like I have actual tickets to see the movies," opening up the box with tickets and a note they read out loud.

Prince Sehki, we request that you join us for the behind the scenes meeting with the cast and crew of Victory Rider: AquaBlaze. Unsure if you participated in the raffle, we offer two tickets for you and a partner to watch a franchise inspired by your lineage.

Candy grew elated, but dropped as he admitted she had to stay behind.

"I'll take pictures," noting the victims had mostly been those affiliated with Coastrosity Coalition. "Maybe bringing Taylor would make sense, but without a Water tutor I'd have to improve my Earth magic just enough," heading back upstairs together.

"So you're going with Lorena," as accidentally tripped and knocked his phone out of his hands, spotting a picture of him, Valencia, and Flint together.

She handed it to him. "That's your brother and friend. Oh, that's why you wanted her. You like redheads?"

"Candy, what are you talking about," turning away from her. "That's just a coincidence!"

"But how are you going to ask her to come with you?"

"Well I can't compromise my identity. Can't I just ask her out when she's not around anyone, but I don't know, but I can't just stalk her," to her surprise. "I have standards!"

She came up with a brilliant strategy, one that eclipsed the minds of those before the advent of social media could never fathom: checking the Quitler accounts of everyone's socials.

Taylor was kissing Delphine and Kayla, but Lorena was nowhere to be found. Thinking she had to be back at the dorm they've never visited, the two searched through the endless selfies and videos of Rigal's and Sven posts harassing people, to find a dorm tour he gave his classmates, and where his core lived.

Sehki winced. "Here goes nothing," putting on his Shadow outfit, slipping into a puddle of darkness and racing to House Poseidon, knocking on any door until Lorena opened, nonchalantly emerging from a background of darkness.

"Um," why are you freezing. You've asked Val out, Cal asked you out, pulling out flowers growing in the Woods. "Lorena, right," lowering his voice. "I've got tickets for the behind the scenes of the Victory Rider movies. Wanna come with me tomorrow?"

"I don't really go out with people, but sure."

"Oh, well sorry to bother you. Hold on, seriously?"

"Sounds interesting. Though I'd like to know the name of my date. You're Sehki, aren't you?"
